Stopped today around 1p because my family needed a quick lunch between practices. They ran out of bread!?!? How does that happen...over the lunch time? Our freaky fast visit turned into over a ½ hour visit!
How do you run out of bread when there is 4 employees working and not a single customer? No bread...at a sandwich shop. When we requested to use the day old bread...”I can’t make sandwiches with day old bread.” Really? But you sell it?
These are petty issues really; but we’ve come to this location a lot and really haven’t had great experiences. I’m thinking this is the last.
Three locations in Ankeny, none of them deliver to my home. I live off 18th street, no more than 1.5 miles from the Ankeny Blvd. location. :( Wife and I tried to order the other night and were told that no store would deliver to us. We are literally a 2 minute drive from the store location. Missing out on a lot of business!
