LTP is always a solid choice for pizza in Ankeny when you're in the mood for thin crust. They also offer a few pasta and hot sandwich options.

The corn nuggets were a nice Iowa option for an appetizer and something a little different than the typical garlic bread/bread sticks offered.

When dining in, it's nothing fancy but it gives off old school pizzaria vibes that let you know that the team here know what they're doing.

Called in for take out. The person taking the order seemed to be new, constantly placed me on hold and when reading back the order missed parts. Ordered a medium double sausage and pineapple. When repeated back he said medium, but we got a small (apparently that is how he entered it) I had to repeat double sausage twice. When asked about appetizers he had to put on hold and ask somebody. Called order in at 545. Dont put new people on the phone during rush hour. The food is great and some of the long time employees are awesome, but this is not the first time mistakes have happened. Today when it was mentioned they messed up the size of the pizza, the only solution offered was to make another small, meaning the other food will sit and get cold while we wait 10-15 minutes. The solution was not a solution at all. Be careful when ordering take out the chances of your order having a mistake is high, especially when the person taking the order does not know what they are doing.

Rude server and astronomical prices for the smallest pizzas I’ve ever seen. Being my first time there, It’s a smaller pizzeria with some charm, and that’s fine that it’s small. We love a hole in the wall. But when I asked the server if they had those stands for pizzas to help space out the small tables, she said “nope you’ll just have to figure it out” and the walked away. Also never brought our ranch. Now you know why I didn’t tip you Nicole. Portifinos right up the road has double the size of pizzas for half the cost, and they taste far better than this “thin crust” style considering Portifinos dough is made in house fresh every day. Happy to tip them. Grimaldi’s also tastes better and has a much better staff. I’ll never eat here again.

We had planned to eat here as it has been awhile to get pizza and onion rings. We stepped into the establishment and waited. Had several workers look at us and didn't say a word. As we waited I looked around and didn't see one server. At one point four workers stared at us. I asked my wife can we go somewhere else as I don't feel like the service is going to be what I want. We decided to go to Portofinos. We were already getting seated and the door hadn't even shut behind us. Maybe I am used to the staff when we came several times a month. We burnt ourselves out and took a break from this location. However, I left two stars to give them the benefit of a doubt that an hour before was too close to closing time.

I love everything about this place. I visited there 4 times within 2 months and have invited others there for lunch in a couple of weeks. Awesome!

Sooooo good! We ordered corn nuggets, a mini taco pizza and a mini pepperoni and mushroom pizza snd it was all amazing. Great staff, great food, nice and quiet dining area. Will definitely be back!

First time in and we live out of town. It was amazing! Very brisk take out plus mostly full dining room. Would highly recommend!
