First delivery never showed up, so had another shipment sent.. both arrived on the same day somehow and of course the first shipment was all rancid.... The food that was safe to eat was super gross. Bad tastes and texture . Moldy bread and powdered milk ..mmm. don't waste your time or resources. Do not be fooled by the photos and claims on their website! Customer service is very very rude as well especially when dealing with disabled people.

I got 28 meals as a benefit from my Medicare advantage plan after a stay in the hospital. While I truly appreciate the ease of the prep and the quality and taste of the food, it would have been nice to get a variety. I got the exact same breakfast meals and two different pasta with beef and tomato sauce meals, both with peas. I was sick of them all after the first five days. While I appreciate the benefit and the help it gave me during the rough recovery period, a little variety would have been appreciated. Even if it was only 4 dinner options and two breakfasts. I found myself opting to heat a can of soup instead of eating the same pasta dish again. Truly appreciate this benefit though!

The delivery driver thinks a one lane black top road is a 55mph just because her GPS says so. She actually tipped my mirror and got all upset whenever I called her out for driving to fast.

This food is great but it doesn’t agree with my stomach it’s too high in fiber. As a constipation sufferer I ended up bloated and with lots of gas. I had to go back to my regular home made meals as these also have too much pasta. I’m improving slowly with probiotics and enzymes the change and stress must have made it worse. Sadly I had to cancel my deliveries.

Not happy with this service for my mom. I’ve tried calling several times about the meals from the smell and taste now to the delivery service.
My mother never liked any of the meals we’ve ordered from Moms Meals so after two months we stopped the delivery. We convinced mom to try again and she found one meal she liked so we ordered just that and after a couple of months they just stopped. I called and asked why? They said your year is up, would you like to re subscribe? Call your insurance provider.
I was sure we paid for a year, what happened to the missing months we didn’t have service? They can’t tell me that. They only type type type on their keyboards.
We got the meals turned back on and now that it’s July they aren’t delivered by the mom’s meals van, they use UPS. I love UPS… but.. it’s over 80 degrees outside and the meals are warm. The liquid freeze bags inside are melted and one burst all over the meals. I have to clean every one to get this slushi stuff off of them. The bags say to dispose in the trash, do not eat and do not put down drain. But it’s all over the food packs and syrups for the pancakes. So I have to wash and towel try everything.
I called you to tell you this and they don’t even offer to make it right. They want to blame UPS. There was no damage to my box and UPS didn’t have access to the inside so why is this freeze bag burst?
Also the food packs aren’t always sealed. Often the person who packs them puts a finger hole in at least one of the food packs. Maybe someone with long fingernails? I suppose UPS did that also?
Time to try another meal provider.

Wasn't what I expected. Beef stew had about 2 tablespoons of stringy beef with what looked liked canned mixed vegetables mixed in it. More like child sized portion meals. Paid for a cookie that I didn't receive. I will have to go out and purchase meat and vegetables to supplement these tiny, tasteless meals. Worst meal order experience that I have ever had. Complete waste of money.

I just got shorted really bad and got only French toast without sausage plus the 4 hamburgers they owe me. That's not substitution it's highway robbery
Meals aren't bad but my 3rd shipment was 2 days late and arrived warm. None of it could be salvaged except the bread and powdered milk. Very disappointing.

HAIR found in MOM’s MEAL. I was eating the Ginger Chicken and Rice meal and found a long gray hair in it. It grossed me out badly. It was sent from Las Vegas. I stopped eating the meals and will never eat a Mom’s Meal again. I tried to complain to the company but they did not answer me. Terrible Company!!!!!

Check you claims. When you stop getting meals they will continue to bill medicaid and refuse to cancel service. Moms meals was just reported for fraud. I already spoke with your people but they had no concern for what they are doing. You have been given the opertunity to correct this now HHSC tx wants to hear back from me. Thursday Moms Meals, pure foods was reported for blatant and knowingly committing Medicaid Fraud to HHSC OIG Texas. As well as Welpoint Insurance company.

I ordered the minimum amount of meals which was 10 for my elderly Dad. The meals look nothing like the advertised picture on the website. They were awful looking. I gave him the meatloaf meal and felt bad even giving it to him to eat. He had no interest in the other meals which I could not blame him. Do not let the pictures fool you as they do not look as good as they are shown! I called to let them know what I thought and the woman seemed to care less said well that is your opinion!

I wasn't offered a chance to pick my meals. So they sent everything except a couple dinners only with chicken. And I'm not that fond of chicken therefore everything tasted the same. Same vegetables just a different name on the label
