My go to for comfort food which is mostly this sausage sandwich, I’m 100% Italian and have consumed almost every sausage sandwich in Des Moines, this one is the best to me… because it’s different! Will love you always and forever!
The food is awesome!!!! The atmosphere is wonderful!

Norwood Inn Bar & Grill is a local hangout with hole in the wall vibes. First-time guests found the food spectacular with service to match. The Hot Italian sandwich and onion rings were on a scale of their own, with the onion rings described as all universe. The hot sausage sandwich is the go-to, and the gizzards are just as tasty. The tenderloin and sausage sandwiches are top favorites, with about 15 ordered during one visit. A nice cold draw from the tap is available at the bar. Everything a guest wants and nothing they didn't need is here.
