This is the BEST place in Ankeny for ice cream! It’s all homemade, friendly staff and such a cute place!
Lots of homemade options including non dairy ice cream for those with sensitive stomachs. Wife and I loved it and will be back with our son another time

The Scoops Udder Place is a hidden gem and well-kept secret in Ankeny. This amazing, family-owned ice cream joint is locally owned, and everything is homemade in house. The homemade ice cream is the best and fantastic, with flavors like licorice ice cream and wedding mint ice cream. You can get a sundae in a homemade bubble waffle, which adds a perfect warm addition, topped with items like brownies, whipped cream, and heath candies. The staff is delightful, super helpful, friendly, nice, and polite, walking first-timers through the menu and encouraging all the samples. It is a great experience and a 10/10 place for making special memories.
