The flies in this place are terrible, out of some things in the menu, service is awful, food well… don’t have any expectations and you may like it.

I wish I could give an actual review on food, service, etc. but unfortunately I never received any of those things at all. We received menus and then waited 30 minutes before leaving. Never asked for our drinks, never said "be right with you," we were actually walked past at least 4 times by the waitress with no acknowledgement what so ever. This was our first time visiting and won't be returning.

Restaurant was unclean, and we were plagued by flies. My Iowa Beef sandwich was soggy and did not taste good. I chose not to eat it.

My husband and I stopped here on a cross country trip and we were very impressed. We both loved the cheesy potato sausage soup and Mac and cheese. We got to the restaurant around 4:30 pm and we were the only ones there for a bit. Lauren G was our server. She was very attentive and apologetic when we had a bit of a wait due to prep work not being finished at the time we ordered. When my steak came out over cooked she offered to have it remade and taken off the bill. I was not expecting anything comped in fact I just asked her for more soup and to call it even. She reduced the bill for the wait and comped my steak on top of getting me a bowl of soup. Definitely will be back next cross country trip.🥰

My family and I recently ordered takeout. The roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes was served hot, tasted wonderful, and had just the right amount of gravy. The club sandwich featured crispy bacon and perfectly cooked, golden fries. The kids loved their chicken tenders. I highly recommend this spot for a satisfying meal!

First and Last time going there. My husband and I stopped on our way to Audubon for Lunch. We got there thinking this was a good ole mom and pop diner. Had to wait a few minutes to be seated, no problem with that. Other people came in after us and was greeted with warm and friendly conversations with them being called be name. Their drink order was taken, plus their lunch order by saying your usual? Don’t have too much of a problem with that but we were there a good 5 minutes before these other people were. I guess if you’re a Local you get Top Notch Service. We ordered our food and waited a long time for it to finally come out. I had the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich, that did have no flavor had to use salt & pepper, bread was burnt like it was placed on a Griddle instead of a Toaster. My husband had the Mushroom Swiss Burger, this came out with Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, and Pickle which he did not ask for. Unfortunately will not return.

This restaurant is phenomenal. Went there on a Sunday and the food was amazing. The pancakes are gigantic! Which is never a bad thing lol. Definitely recommend this amazing cozy little place. It’s a down to earth low-key very clean environment. And they make you feel very welcome.
