Unfortunately did not get a chance to enjoy this place because they do not allow any children. Pretty disappointed because I have never encountered a brewery with such a strict age limit.

I’m a self proclaimed hefe weizen connoisseur and a stout lover. I tasted several but selected the I-O-W-Amber red ale which was superb. Staff was very adept on beers and each brew. Nice spot to try a few new brews in Iowa. I’ll be back!

We recently had a "private party" at Adventurous to celebrate a retirement. We have been coming to Adventurous since the taproom was opened. The vibe is amazing and the staff is fantastic. Jami was so great to work with in getting the party scheduled and figuring out how we wanted to set things up to the beer. The communication was excellent and we felt so comfortable that the day would be just we wanted it to be. The day was perfect (we drove over 2 hours as well as did all of those invited to join us) and cannot say enough about Jami and team at Adventurous.

The staff are friendly and have great recommendations. They have snacks in the way of bags of pretzels, cheese dippers, Butch’s Pizza, and a pretzel with 2 sauces you will definitely want to share. The beers change here frequently and it’s nice to know I’m going to be able to try new beers at each visit.
