Gravastar Coffee (Formerly Coffee Hound)

While visiting the QC area from out of town, we stopped by for a late morning treat! We always try to support locally-owned and operated businesses and Gravastar did NOT disappoint! I like flavor without a lot of extra “stuff” in my coffee, including little to no cream. The barista acknowledged this and recommended the Peanut Butter Pup custom cold brew, Black. It was absolutely delicious!!! My daughter loves Caramel and chocolate and the barista recommended a California Dream, which is caramel sauce and white chocolate. It received rave reviews from a super picky teen! My tween son ordered an Orange July-Us smoothie which was fervently consumed and declared to be “Amazing!” To eat, we also ordered a BAE Breakfast Sammie - it was scrumptious - and a Chicken Bacon Ranch flatbread pizza. Both of these tasted like they were from a restaurant and came out piping hot and packed with flavor. You could tell they were hand-made with care and they were delicious!!! The ambiance at Gravastar is also so well-constructed. You can tell it was designed and created with intention and clarity that supports their vision and theme very well. Bravo 👏! Well-done! Everyone - do yourself a favor and stop by Gravastar. Skip the chains. Support local. Tell your friends. You’ll be happy you did!

💗My favorite coffee place. . . for hot, iced, or blended!

I prefer All Star Energy Cafe.......incredible breakfast sandwiches, huge selection of drinks, awesome staff............great location, just minutes from my home, fast and friendly service! And as always, seeing Beth's smiling face brings sunshine to my day!

They didn't have the boardwalk blend I ordered so I got a peanut butter pup iced coffee instead. It was pretty tasty.

Got an order of 4 drinks handed to me in the most wobbly unstable drink carrier which caused my whole order to spill when I tried to carry it. For a drink place you would think they would have something more stable for someone to carry multiple hot coffees. Wouldn’t recommend for anything other than a single item at most and really not the top choice for coffee either.

They're so busy! And, rightfully so! The Lavender Cookie Latté I got was spectacular! Good espresso, flavorful syrup that's not overly sweet, right temp! Such important factors for regular coffee drinkers. Their baked goods seemed to be pretty popular as well! Will have to try them sometime. Looks like a great place to meet up with people. Plenty of seating inside and out. The staff is so nice and welcoming. Efficient, as well, without sacrificing niceties. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have been coming here for 3 years and we have always loved the decor, the service, and the prices. We love supporting local small businesses and especially Coffee Hound.

Staff is lovely & the beverages are delicious! However I recently purchased a pound of the flavored beans, asked them to please coarse grind it so I could make my own cold brew - in a standard toddy brewer - and my beans came back to me VERY fine. Like beyond drip coffee fine; almost espresso ground. I don’t know if there was a miscommunication or if their grinder only has one setting, but it was disappointing (and clogged my brewer.)

Great coffee and friendly staff. Just wish they would open before 6 on some days so I could go before work!
