I like to order Belgian Waffles on Sunday, with a side of scrambled eggs! It normally comes with meat. They have been great about letting me switch that out tho. The price of eggs may have been the one thing that has come down 🙂 I call in my order, and pick up in 15 minutes. I really like that there is one in Bettendorf now! Don’t have to wait 30-45 minutes to get in. The menu has a great variety. They have crepes! I used to go to a place in Chicago with my Mom and sister, 30 years ago; called Magic Pan- their specialty was crepes! Yum! I love this place!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Meli’s Cafe is one of our favorite breakfast spots in Bettendorf. It’s such a cute little café with a cozy atmosphere, great coffee, and consistently delicious food. My daughter asks me to take her here all the time just so she can get their avocado toast. It’s her absolute favorite.
If you’re looking for a great local place for breakfast or coffee in the Quad Cities, Meli’s is definitely worth a visit. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to come back again and again.

The heat was not working the day we went. They could have posted on their Facebook page about this issue. Then it took forever to get out food. Others that arrived after us were getting their food before us because they were smaller orders so they did those 1st

Great black coffee, nice servers, clean and cute. Has outdoor seating. You can make some special requests to change menu items and some they reject. I tried the chorizo Skillet and it wasn't the best I've had. The servers are very sweet.

The food here is phenomenal. The cooks are master chefs as far as I'm concerned. I've eaten here many times and never had the same dish twice, so far. Everything that I have had was a new taste experience, and flavor combinations that hit the spot. The owner waited on me this morning, and she was such a delight to talk to. She explained the dishes to me that I asked about any hesitation or reluctance. She is a peach! Can't wait to get back out there again for another fantastic meal. I challenge everybody that reads this to prove me wrong.

Awesome spot if you're looking for a delicious breakfast or lunch. Chicken and waffles and mango habanero chicken sandwich were both delicious. Prices were reasonable. Restaurant and restroom were super clean. Surprised they weren't busier than they were. We will definitely be back!
