Played my first round of golf here today. Golf course itself is decent but I have been waiting on every hole sometimes two groups deep to play. It will be way too long of a round and I'm not sure why there's no one pushing groups along. At this pace not sure I'd pay for it again but I may give it a chance at some point.

My black husband and friend has been discriminated against two weeks in a row now by staff while golfing. Last time they were told they were going to slow, when they could not move any faster than the group in front of them. They asked the group ahead of them if they were told they were moving to slow by staff and they had not. This time they were told they were first going too fast and then later told they were going too slow. When they sped up to sit and wait for the person in front of them to finish, they asked that person if they were told by the staff if they were going too slow and they had not been approached by staff at all. The only two black men golfing and approached by staff...Please make this make sense....

Palmer grill is more than hot dogs chips. I'm there because of the golf but several of my buddies and myself have taken 45 minutes on the turn(thats us finishing the front 9, eating, and finishing and the back 9) and we're always happy with their broad menu. Even if you are not golfing, stop in.

Palmer Grill is great place to host a small event or gathering. Lots of indoor and outdoor patio seating to choose from. The food is priced for well for what they offer. They have a nice selection of menu items and draft beverages. I’d rate the food 4/5 if you’re a foodie, however, great taste for the price. Check their Facebook for weekly specials and live music. Don’t sleep on this venue for food or if you need to host an event.

Course in general is in nice condition however it is not a great choice for beginners. Additionally, staff members at the front desk were not friendly. The man working today was incredibly nice to the person in front of us (clearly knew him personally). When he got to us he said we needed to be fast or we would have to golf with other people even though we still had ten minutes to our tee time. They clearly overbooked their tee times and there was constantly a wait at each hole. We've been to Palmer Hills a few times now, but will definitely be going to another course from now on.

They are so friendly, the food and service is absolutely wonderful!!!!!! A very safe and clean place to have a great meal and good time. We are always treated like family!!!! I highly recommend and their prices can’t be beat either!!!!!

We ordered carry out for Mother's day brunch and it was fantastic. Very generous portions of eggs, sausage, bacon, cheesy potatoes, fruit and pastries. All for only $25. Very impressed. ?
