Great breakfasts. Worth the drive
Delicious. Everybody in our group (8 of us) Loved our food.
(years later update) This is still one of our favorite places. If you are in the area, try it out! Great breakfast food all day. I love the burgers, and whatever the special is that day.
This place is great! OG type diner and bar. Great food cooked to order. Fun staff and worth the stop.

Waveland West is a restaurant that impresses with its huge selection of high-quality food, scoring 5 stars in all categories. This cozy cafe-style eatery has a comfortable atmosphere, although an entrance way would be a nice addition. The staff is always friendly and attentive, providing fast service and refilling drinks promptly. The menu features delicious comfort food, including amazing hash browns that are out of this world, and a great surprise pizza. Breakfast is always spot on, and the sandwiches are just like grandma used to make. Don't forget to ask about the off-menu wings, smoked and flash-fried to perfection. With reasonable prices and big portions, Waveland West is a perfect spot for a casual meal or gathering, and there's always a seat available. Kids enjoy the place as well, making it a great family-friendly option.
