(years later update) This is still one of our favorite places. If you are in the area, try it out! Great breakfast food all day. I love the burgers, and whatever the special is that day.“

“First time eating here. Friendly staff, fast service, reasonable prices, generous portions and delicious burgers and fries. I enjoyed the mushroom Swiss burger with perfectly seasoned crinkle fries. Our daughter is home from college, and she told us that’s the best burger she’s had in a long time. She had the bacon cheeseburger. Hubby had the double cheeseburger, it looked great too. He must’ve enjoyed it, he ate the whole thing! Glad we found this place, we will be back.“

“This looks like a regular restaurant and more expensive than DQ from the outside, but was surprisingly inexpensive with meals (burger, fries, drink) ranging from packages that are $6+. The food is very similar to DQ, as well as the shakes similar to DQ blizzards, but the prices are to similar to Burger King's coupon deals and the environment like a retro 1960's restaurant. Super surprised at the great prices! Photos shown are just like the actual food.“

“Very good food and great service. Now I know restaurants are trying to turn over tables but when like no one is there what's the rush? Second time (not here 2 times) in a short while that we get up to go to bathroom and after we asked for a to go box, personnel take all our stuff at the table including food box. Now, I will say that when I went to go get the check paid (didn' t do before to signify that I was coming back) after bathroom viisit that took a little while, they did replace it free.

We did think that the sign near the bathrooms was great 😁 .“

“Kind of rough day. Normally our experiences are exceptional, but today. Advertised flavor of day way not available. They did not bring out our concrete mixer until I went to ask for them. Lots of loud kids but not Culver's fault, now summer time.“

“Spent Father’s Day here. We played games for 4 hours with the unlimited pass. Had a great time & really enjoyed the time & the atmosphere.
Kingston in the ticket redemption place was phenomenal & made a lasting impression on us & our experience.“

“I am a faithful weekly diner at Freddy's and have multiple meals I thoroughly enjoy as my weekly eat out treat. The food is always good and the people are friendly and helpful. Waukee is showing off a cleanliness award that they should be very proud of.“

“The quality of our local steak and shakes have significantly improved along with the staff. Much cleaner, tastes better, and even seems more filling than it used to. On top of that the new company policies like banning microwaves, beef tallow for their fried goods, and grass fed beef for the burgers. It went downhill a while ago but I can definitely say it has done a complete 360 and has honestly been one of our families favorite quick fast food locations now. Definitely better than McDonald's.“

“Weirdly, the best BK in the area. I've only been here between 11am & 2pm. So there's that. Only BK that gets the classic chicken & big fish right. I know that's weird to care about. But almost every other BK is bad at handing over hot food. Again, weird to talk about at work, but more than one coworker says the same thing.“

“I ordered A cup of soup and a side salad. I was told that the soup was a brothy soup and wouldn't have any type of thickener in it. Since I'm gluten free, that's what I needed. Unfortunately, when the cup of soup came it was not brothy. It was a thick soup. One of the people that I was with ordered some type of salmon I believe it was, it was so spicy she couldn't eat it. I didn't think the food was anything fantastic. The service was good in the atmosphere was good.“

“Ate here a couple of weeks back on a Friday night. Have experienced bad service and mediocre food from other locations, decided to give Applebee's one more shot. Did not disappoint. From the fresh salad to the entree, everything was great. Will definitely be back.“

“The food took awhile to get for how many people were working there and since it was dinner time. I was glad it wasn't sitting out for long but some of the fries were still undercooked in my opinion. The burger was great though and they didn't skimp on the toppings which is always a plus.“

“I don’t write reviews often....and never about a fast food place....but this needed to be said! I went to this Wendy’s location for the first time the other day for lunch. I was greeted by a super friendly lady named Shalonda. Let me tell you what...i have never seen someone so nice, so caring and hard working in a fast food place before. She was on top of every single order, greeted each customer as if she personally knew them (some i think were “regulars”). When she didn’t have a customer, she was out walking around, checking on customers, clearing trays, stocking supplies and such. Yes I know this is her “job” but now days....it seems people do the minimum to get by. She truly takes pride in her job and I sure hope Wendy’s acknowledges this and appreciates it! I went back up and ordered cookies just so i could get her name on the receipt 🤪. Shalonda keep up the great work....your kindness has been seen!“

“Solid 4 star breakfast.(Edit to add: i'd give 4.5 if I could) Nothing fancy, just good hot breakfast food. Prices are good and service is always nice. The inside is clean and looks maintained . Been here a few times now, and my go to place in the area.“
