“First time in De Moine googled restaurants close by & knew we needed to try a place called zombie burger. We were not disappointed! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an outstanding burger and fries. Do me a favor and try a shake while you’re there as well“
“I hosted my husband's 50th birthday party at the Station, and their back room was having the Nightmare on Ingersol, so they had some tables reserved for us. We ended up with more than the tables would hold, and they did an amazing job of getting to people quickly, and made the night great, from the 8 year old, to the birthday boy with some people getting food, and getting drinks to everyone. Many thanks to you!“
“Our first time and what a great experience! We arrived around 11:30 am , found a spot in the parking lot (big plus!), and got right in, but we made it just in time. It filled up fast! Our server, Adrianna, was fabulous; very friendly (awesome smile), happy to answer some of our questions, and was just overall top notch! The food was incredible especially the Armadillo Eggs with the jalapeño ranch. Supberb!Highly recommend and it's conveniently located right off I-235.“
“Always a fun place to hang out with friends after work. They have great food and cold drinks. Atmosphere is amazing! It is worth to at least try it once, you will be back.Parking: It does get tight for parking. Plenty of street parking. Park next to them or go just a little east and park there.“
“I really enjoyed this place. I stopped because I had never heard of B Bops, and I had time to kill waiting for my plane. The food was so good I was actually pleasantly surprised. The staff wasn't rude but they weren't pleasant either it was like they were just there.“
“This is undoubtedly the best dining establishment in des moines period. The staff are rop notch professionals and the food is a level above anything else outside 801 Grand. They make all of our special occasions amazing and the oyster selection is better than waterfront even. 6 or 7 different varieties isn't uncommon and all have tasting notes. Tuesday all nite happy hour is to die for. Try a vodka Martini extra dirty w/ Blu cheese olives. A dozen oysters for 24$ and the chefs choice charcuterie. Then a 5$ poutine with the same wine braised beef in the 30$ menu option! But with chunks of iowa farm cheese curds. This place is a solid 6 stars out of 5!! The manager is a sweetheart ❤️ tell her Christopher sent you!Edit: original lazy reviewThe best....come back soon!!!!Vegetarian options: They have vegetables? Try the Brussel sprouts! Lol...better yet don't be a vegetarian lol your missing out on so much joy!Parking: Street parking at meters, no biggie“
“Feels like a locals only place that serves tremendous local fare. The pork loin sandwich was literally so big. It was going off the plate and it made the bun. It was served on. Look like a silly joke. The sandwich is that big! T-shirts are a little pricey but what are you going to do?“
“The onion rings were light and real easy on the stomach. I also got a chili cheese coney which had onion pickle and mustard on it as well. That combination was new to me but it was surprisingly delicious. I'll be back in for more. Who knows maybe I'll be a regular before long.“
“I kinda hate to share about this place. Now all of you will go there and I won't get a table. ?The Sunday smashburger on an apple fritter is-to-die for. The only thing that could make it better would be a side of coleslaw, so I could put it on the burger ?Spicy Virgin Bloody Mary was ?Two friends had Biscuits and Gravy and both said it was really good. The pancakes were big and fluffy.“
“The east side of the river really isn’t dirty anymore. It’s been gentrified with your typical cookie cutter businesses and people. I enjoyed my Saturday afternoon visit. The prices are typical with the area. The bartender was on point and it wasn’t to sticky. For me the ambience wasn’t what I expected. Numerous bachelorette parties and those people that ride that drinking wagon thing came and went. A privileged frat boy sorority girl feel but maybe it was just the day. Without the patio I don’t think I’d bother with the place and I wonder what happens in the winter 3/4s of their seating disappears. I’ll swing in again to enjoy a nice patio evening but maybe on a weekday instead.“
“The white girl at the window is super nice and welcomes you and serves you great, but the girl, I suppose Hispanic or of Hispanic descent, who delivers the food at the window, was rude and didn't even want to come back to be treated that way. The burgers, fries and all the food in general delicious.“
“The employees at this Chrome Cafe, make you feel like family and they are very courteous while you are there.Kid-friendliness: There are conferable seating and flatscreens to watch shows on in the dining room and in the truckers lounge.Wheelchair accessibility: Someone may need to hold the door but otherwise no problems that I could see.“
“"I am hopeful that Good Hearts get their proper recognition. I was fortunate enough to walk into this location. I smiled and appeared as jovial as I could. I'm in hell.No family here no friends and most faces I have seen have been quite the unfriendly ugly facial gestures. Nevertheless, today "Gina G" displayed the highest, and most exemplary care during my visit. I am grateful to have you been placed in my path. I still won't cry, lol. Just watery eyes...So in Closing, please all who views this, join me in a Salute emoji to commend these acts of pure, unconditional, care, kindness, and compassion;GiNA G? ?✊?...????. I also would like to show you my gratitude furthermore, a gift. Nothing more than a platonic appreciation for your kindness. I will recommend to anyone who eats breakfast with a broken heart, broken tooth, or broken spirit please go visit and FIND "GG" Gina G. Mention her review and then leave one as well. Much luv, peace and blessings, to you, your family, and Co workers henceforth.-Tsantez, 1Luv, 1Heart.“
“The pizza was pretty good. We had deep dish sausage. I loved the crust! The sauce was a bit in the acidic side for me.The service was really good! The atmosphere was fine, but it the front has a weird office when you walk in. The parking isn’t very clear - hobby lobby lot vs street parking off to the side. They could improve by getting more comfortable chairs, repainting (especially in the event room) and hiding TV cords. It was very nice that they let us use that back room for a small group & we overall had a nice experience.Parking: The parking is awkward and not clear. Some parked in the hobby lobby lot and others parked parallel along the side street, which doesn’t have spaces or signage. We weren’t sure if this was allowed.“
“First and not the last time I'm going here. Food is fire, staff was amazing, chef is quick and efficient. Tony's sauce is the best!Parking: Couple parking spots but off street parking on 24th st.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly. Young staff really great!Wheelchair accessibility: No steps easy access“
“Great customer service! You had 2 products I had requested at another DQ in town and they had no idea what they were :( Your Staff was pleasant and my husband's malt cup was full unlike his experiences at other stores, Keep up the good work!“
“Waitstaff as usual bends over backwards! Reece from Waterloo, has become an extremely popular requested waitress for her uncanning personality and abilities. TY cooks and prep's in the back house for absolutely perfect plate presentations and timely turnaround! We tipped 50%“
“What would summer be like without Dairy Queen this little walk up Dairy Queen has been here for a long time and hopefully its air for a long time more me and my daughter and the dog Britain had ice cream the other day it was just a bit of nostalgia.“
“First time eating here. Friendly staff, fast service, reasonable prices, generous portions and delicious burgers and fries. I enjoyed the mushroom Swiss burger with perfectly seasoned crinkle fries. Our daughter is home from college, and she told us that’s the best burger she’s had in a long time. She had the bacon cheeseburger. Hubby had the double cheeseburger, it looked great too. He must’ve enjoyed it, he ate the whole thing! Glad we found this place, we will be back.“
“I have lived in Phoenix for the last 11 years. Moved from Norwalk. I haven’t been back and I need b bops!!! Please open a spot on the Vegas strip!!! I run into iowa people like me all the time that need b bops… please I’m here on the strip and I need b bops!!!!!!“
“Went for Sunday lunch. Busy but fast and efficient service. Uncle Denny smash burger was yummy ! Thin smashed Pattie with crispy edges. Soft seedy bun, melty cheese and sweet sauce. Craveable! Good fries. Chili Mac light and flavorful. Definitely on our list of favorites!“
