The food was really good. Our server was Cortny Brown and she is truly great. Always smiling and pleasant. She comes back several times to check on us and is just all-around a credit to Applebee's.
Must have had a new server. She wasn't the best but she at least brought us our food and drinks. But the food! OMG! It was the worst food we ever had from here. My husbans got a burger and it came out cold ands hard. I got the All you can eat riblets and shrimp. I got pulled meat with sauce and 5 shrimp and xold fries. Crappy coleslaw once I got it. Applebee's Grill + Bar is a dependable restaurant for a family meal, known for its friendly and knowledgeable servers, and a variety of meal options. The garlic mashed potatoes are a popular choice, although they can sometimes be unevenly heated. The restaurant offers drink specials, including Dollaritas until the end of May and the Captain Bahama Mama, which is especially good. The 2 for $30 special includes a steak cooked to perfection with steamed broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes, or grilled chicken penne with a breadstick. Kids' meals are also available and include a main, a side, and a drink. The restaurant has an adequate parking lot and is wheelchair accessible, with ground level and easy navigation. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the noise level is not overbearing.
However, recent visits have shown some challenges. During one visit, customers experienced a wait of over 45 minutes for their food, with some dishes arriving cold and needing to be sent back. The staff explained that they had three new cooks and were turning people away due to long cook times. Despite this, the staff remained friendly and attentive. Another visit featured excellent service from Brittany, who was always at the table asking if anything was needed, and the food was outstanding with no long wait. On a different day, the restaurant was busy and short-staffed, but the staff stayed friendly and accommodating. The manager apologized for a slightly overdone Bacon burger, and the staff continued to be courteous and helpful. Overall, Applebee's remains a good choice for a casual family meal, but occasional delays can occur during busy times.
