I decided to eat out before starting the new gig tomorrow. Decided Corked 101 was the place to be.. nice and quiet with great wine.
Started with a Flight of wine: 1) Snap Dragon (Riesling) Nice and subtle... this isn't a sweet dessert Aslese or medium Spatleses... just gentle and filling. Next up; 2) Salt of the Earth (White Moscato) After the riesling, you could really taste the fruit in this favorite: orange, apricot, and peach! And finally: 3)Ramos Pinta Reserve (Port) A fine, light, port. No heavy tawney port, but the perfect finish for the flight.
And then came the Cheese Fondue platter for dinner. It was AMAZING! The cheese was a melted guada that was perfect match for the fruit, bread, peppers, veggies and such. (See the pictures)
I thought about out getting the flatbread pumpkin for desert... but im trying to cut back!!
You gotta check this place sometime!
The service is amazing! Once again I was here on a slow night after playing santa. But the staff was nice and attentive!

horribleeeee not much to choose from on menu, no drink menu, BUGS crawling on the table, horrible service and took 1 hour to get our food. Absolutely NOT worth the wait, the pizza is good but HORRIBLE proportions and the other food is not so good my friends girlfriend spit her food out. 0/10 i dont recommend

We had a huge group of ppl for a get together here and couldnt even get drinks ordered. My mother even went in the day before to ask if it would be easier to order the food she wanted the previous day and they said no only takes about 15 min. The food took over 1hr 30 minutes for 1 of the appetizers to come out. Also know we had a big group we asked if we needed to come to the bar for drinks. Was told no, but no one came to even ask us or refill drinks. We ordered food at 615ish and last appetizer came out at 8:15, by then most of my ppl had left. On top of this there were only 2 other tables in the restaurant. Very disappointing as ive worked as a waitress at different locations and this was a lack of caring and not communicating.

Still way too noisy here. Was very busy today with only one server. The owner didn't pitch in. Just sat at the bar talking with a group of people. Even though I allowed 45 minutes for one drink, I was still late as it took a while to get my check and a while longer to pay.
