Mason did good, give him a 5 star review. It's 12:29 and he closed it down, it was slow. I google review bars open until 2am because I want 2am. Slightly disappointing, good service, drinks and people. Change hours maybe, close at midnight on weekdays?
Hidden gem for sure! I have lived here for 2 hrs and so disappointed it this long to make my way into the Cypress Lounge. Great neighborhood atmosphere. Eclectic group of customers. Great beer selection and cocktails!! I can't say enough about this place, I will be going back and soon.

Was once the cool little bar in the Black Hawk Hotel but closed when the Hotel went the boutique direction back in early to mid 2000s. Owner moved the Cypress to its current location while trying to maintain the original vibe. It’s a decent bar with the 3 pool tables occupying a space about the size of the bar area.
