This is OneNote the few craft beer places that I actually really like some of the beers.I'm not an IPA drinker and I appreciate the sours and other non IPA selections they have here.The menu is small but really good too.I love the pretzels. The beer cheese is awesome and the mustards sauce is a great counter punch.The service is always great and I can usually get my nerd fix on the TV too.
The beer quality is the prize here. An outstanding sour named "Ring Around the Gose", a solid lager named "Gable", and of course there's "Tip the Cow" for the dark coffee beer craving. The Waterloo location menu items are unique and tasty. A local sweet spot that you always hope will get enough business to remain open. A perfect reward for a tired, thirsty cyclist. The location and surrounding venue is inviting. The beer at this Taproom is worth a visit. I was unsure how I would appreciate the offerings when I saw all the sours touted on the website. If you are a stout fan the ZMD is a must try. It could easily be added to your list of favorite beers. Any brewery in the county would be hard pressed to beat the full flavor profile and intense mouthfeel of this beer.
