We tried a traditional beignet and a glazed one. Cooked to order. Light, fluffy deliciousness ! The glazed one had a sweet and yummy almond glaze. Will be back to try some more items including the caramel cake.
The food here was good. I had the Monday special (catfish, red beans & rice, cornbread, and a beignet). The fish was fried to perfection and the cornbread was sweet, but not overly sweet. It was a great balance of things. I got really full without actually being able to finish my meal.
Simply outstanding. Courteous and prompt service, almost no wait time, and the food is the star. Red Beans & Rice, Catfish, cornbread, and a beignet. Great seasoning and right heat for the beans and rice, breading on the fish was flavorful and perfectly fried, and moist cornbread!!! And of course, a fresh beignet…love the almond flavor!! Highly recommend!!!!
