The food was good. I had the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were a little hard and dry and they skimped a little with the gravy. Big fan of biscuits and gravy, but not sure I would order it again here. Wife had a double stack of pancakes and they were great. I had hashbrowns and they were good as well. Would go back again.

Would definitely eat here again! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Is because I entered the restaurant from the back where there parking is. This area needs a face lift and a cleaner look to complement the rest of the restaurant.

We ordered hot chocolate for my son. He didn’t like it, and it was not hot. It was warm, at most. Also, I ordered steak and eggs and asked for the steak to be medium. It came almost raw! God, it was dripping blood all over the plate!

Cutest little breakfast spot with delicious food and the nicest staff! My husband and I shared the lemon blueberry pancakes which were divine & had the croissant sandwich and biscuits & gravy, which were also incredible! Glad we found this cute little spot before we headed back home!

Was pretty disappointed. It seemed like the staff was overwhelmed as it took forever for the waitress to get to us once we were seated and then for the cooks to get us our food once we ordered. Our waitress was very nice once she did get to us. The biggest frustration was that at 10am - not even halfway through their Saturday - they were out of cinnamon rolls so I couldn't order what I wanted and they were out of vegan eggs so my friend couldn't order what he wanted. I had to get something else and he had to order a skillet with no eggs and vegan chorizo (and cheese maybe?). Was not impressed by that nor by my replacement dish of cinnamon roll french toast. The place is pretty small and loud with all the people that get crammed in but that's just something you sign up for with an establishment like that. Overall was disappointed, especially considering that I'd been here before the ownership changed and they renamed themselves La Casita (adding some Mexican-themed dishes) and I do not remember having a negative experience like this.

Very good service! Food and drinks as expected. Fast, hot and delicious. I had chilango. Lots of ham, overall very generous portions. Husband had a skillet which came with 3 eggs perfectly cooked. Bloody Mary nice and spicey. The restaurant so nicely updated and clean compared to previous state.

From my daughter—I highly recommend this place place, because if it is your birthday, then they give you an extra special treat. And the pancakes are so fluffy. It feels like a literal cloud, and if you get a hot cocoa you literally get a huge cup. It is literally the best I really recommend this place.?????????????????????????????????????

Last time I was at La Casita, it was very early morning on a Sunday, yet they were out of all vegan options, indicating they didn't have them available that day at all. When I asked if the oatmeal could be made vegan, the answer was, "The chef will probably put a little milk in it." If you're going to have vegan options on the menu, please have them available so that those of us who don't eat other options can still eat something.

Good food, and a nice amount of vegetarian and vegan options! Nicely decorated, but certainly got pretty packed and loud since it is a smaller place. Service was good despite how busy it was!

Our server was incredible. I was a server for over 5 years and have never seen someone so organized, focused, patient, and friendly. She was actually the highlight of the visit for me. Food was really good too!

Being a small shop off of 1st Ave I wasn't sure what to expect but boy was I surprised by the experience. Top quality food and atmosphere for a smaller sized dinner. Service was very friendly as well.DEFINITELY try the strawberries and cream pancakes for your 1st time.

Yummy! First the positives...delicious green chilaquiles served with crispy hash browns. I loved them! My husband had classic breakfast (eggs, hash browns, sausage and pancake) which he really enjoyed. The only negatives were coffee not refilled and the place is freezing. We will be back but with sweatshirts. Highly recommend though!

My husband and I frequent this spot on the weekends. The food is fire and the service is friendly. The last time we went though, our food was exceptionally great! My husband got the CDMX Bene and his eggs were perfectly poached. The hashbrowns were seasoned nicely and were crispy. I gotChilaquiles Verde with Carnitas. I get it a lot but it was the best yet! The carnitas were crispy but not dried out and chewy. Everything well seasoned. Eggs cooked perfectly. Whew the verde sauce really packed a lot of heat. I would have dialed that back a bit but it didn't stop me from snarfing it down. Thank you so much! We will be back!

The food is amazing. The entire menu: traditional Mexican breakfast, traditional American breakfast, the fusion dishes, the baked goods, and the mixed drinks. I support all of it.Located in a former greasy spoon hole in the wall, seating a little packed but worth it. Better yet, come on a weekday. The service is... well-meaning but poorly executed. Imagine if you gave a bunch of teenagers the responsibility to run a restaurant and no training. Is there a German word for watching your food sit on the dish warmer while the rest of your party eats?If you lack patience, maybe knock another star off. If you're made of sterner stuff or just come during a weekday, this is a 5-star establishment. For me, the great pleasure is worth the minor pain and I'll be back.
