Truly a gem in Cedar Rapids. The food is spectacular - if you are looking for fresh authentic Mexican food that tastes like it was made by family, this is your spot. Our family especially enjoys burritos and quesadillas. The prices are very reasonable as well. 5/5 absolutely recommend!
The fact that they fed striking laborers from Ingredion during the winter months is enough to get my 100% support. Thank you for supporting the working class backbone of our community. It is of utmost importance that we hold on to the rights of the working class. Thank you Lucita's!
Was surprised when my son ( vegan) asked if a dish on the menu could be made excluding the meat. He was told immediately that he will get what he gets described in the menu. No changes could be made. There wasn't an actual menu with vegan or vegetarian options. Being a Mexican restaurant I would of thought throwing lettuce, rice, beans etc without the meat in a tortilla shell wouldn't have been a big deal as all those options can be ordered on the side. Very disappointed...
