This location is only open to the public on Friday evenings. Their Friday fish fry seemed to be very popular. As someone who doesn’t eat fish, I was glad that the restaurant didn’t smell strongly of fish.
We arrived at 415 (they open at 4) and they were already very busy. We did get a table but the space filled shortly after we arrived. The staff ran like crazy trying to serve everyone, but we still felt as though we could have had a bit more attention.
Food portions were very generous. I enjoyed the chicken Alfredo. It’s was a different Alfredo sauce than I’ve had elsewhere; it was almost more ‘cheesy’, if that makes sense. The garlic bread was tasty. The French fries were very good.
My husband was less than impressed with the all-you-can-eat Walleye. He thought most of the pieces were chewy, or very tough.

Best Fish Fry in Cedar Rapids, imo. Only open on Fridays, which makes it even more special!!
Wonderful service, girl was very attentive, food was horrible, had walleye paper thin rubber, potatoes and cole slaw tasted funny and outrageously over priced.

OMG This place is so delicious ? and the food is HOT I've never gone to a restaurant where the food is remotely close to how hot the food is so great job for having a HOT food and it stayed HOT through my whole meal ??and we had GREAT service I ? recommend this place if you like fish, frys, and ECT 10/10 DELICIOUS ?

Terrible service. We waited at least 30 minutes before we were greeted by our server and had our drink order taken. During this time we watched 3 other tables get seated, drink orders taken, and meal orders taken. Once our food arrived, we discovered the "walleye" was actually walleye but rather pollock. The cod had batter that was rock hard and about a quarter inch thick. Menu stated the cod came with salad, no salad was given. Kitchen ran out of party potatoes, we were told there was an upcharge for baked potato substitution(because they ran out of what was originally ordered). Food was incredibly bland. When the check came, we were charged for an extra dinner that we didn't order. Thankful that was removed.Worst dining experiences I've had in probably 20 years.
