“Was visiting from out of town and stopped in for avocado toast and a matcha. The BEST matcha and avocado toast I've ever had! Will definitely be back before we leave. I'm gonna miss this place when I get home!”

“Kudos to the three staff members who were working on 8/16 around 6pm for their professional handling of a customer who was behaving in an intimidating and completely unacceptable manner because she was upset that fresh mozzarella has an upcharge. They deserve recognition for having much better behavior than the middle aged bully they were stuck dealing with.”

“Great small town Iowa bar. No frills. Some taps, lots of cans and bottles and some homemade pizza's I wish I'd gotten to try. My group of urbanites stuck out to some degree but we were quickly made to feel welcome nonetheless. Closed the bar with some "klondike bars." Shout out to Rich and his bartender for their hospitality.”

“They were FANTASTIC at seating our large party quickly. What started as a group of 7 ended as a group of 21. Our waiter was great. He took our orders from memory & was attentive. Food was not as spicy as I wanted, but I think everyone enjoyed their meals.Kid-friendliness: Kid's menu with lots of options.Wheelchair accessibility: My uncle was able to get in & out in his wheelchair. Not a ton of space, but he was able to get around.”

“I have been eating here off and on for 20+ years. The food has always been hot and fresh whenever my family and I have ate in the store. When we go here we always have dined inside the store. I prefer these stores over the Express Stores. The Godfathers Express do not have the good crust and options like these older Godfather Stores have. Just my opinion, we all need to keep going to these original stores that serve good, hot, and fresh food so they stay open! Looking forward to the next time we are in town for pizza, so we can come back!”

“If you want good old-fashion Iowa food, Family table has it. I had a hot beef sandwich which was out of this world.Parking: The restaurant is located on a hill. The entrance is up a steep incline while the exit is down a steep incline. I would not recommend driving an RV here. I don't think an RV would make it. That's the only negative to this place.”

“Fastest McDonald’s ever! There were 4 cars in front of me At the drive thru. Within 5 minutes of arriving behind the cars, I was back on the road! Never seen this at the dozens of McDonald’s I went to in about 6 states. Good to know that 1/100 visits to a McDonald’s reflects the mindset of “if we get paid more, we will work harder.””
