“Family restaurant, blue plate type meals. We both enjoyed a nice tender chicken fried steak w mashed potatoes, with brown gravy, ( I prefer white but it was very good) . Side salad with delicious homemade ranch. Navy bean soup good, with the addition of some good shakes of their hot sauce. Lots of folks enjoying really big breakfast entree’s. Biscuits and gravy looked amazing. French toast and waffle looked great.

A teenager was chowing on the monster burger it is really big, he was in cow heaven.

“In town for a business meeting. Met here for dinner - first time here for dinner. What an excellent experience from the moment we walked in the door. First, the interior of the restaurant has an eclectic awesome vibe. Unique and inviting. Tyrell greeted us and seated our party and ultimately Tyrell was also our server. He did an OUTSTANDING job making recommendations from the menu and checked in on us as needed to refresh drinks, etc. The menu offerings are varied and enticing. Our food was excellent. The whole evening was enjoyable with big kudos going to Tyrell and his team. Thank you! We'll be back!“

“Our food is always good and we enjoy the different choices on the menu, although when prime rib was offered they were almost always out, except one time they just did not have it sliced. I finally did get a serving of it at long last. Have one complaint...the hostess is almost always in the back and people are waiting to pay, sometimes more than one, and there are several waiting to be seated! On our last visit a group of 6 left because they were tired of waiting!! She should be instructed to be out front almost all of the time! However, the wait staff is very friendly. In fact, we have made good friends with one particular waitress, Staci! We usually look forward to eating a Perkin's! One other thing, it is always too cold in there so we must be sure to take a jacket.“

“This was our first time in Clear Lake. What a treat!! We knew this restaurant was THE spot for us. Lindsey was spectacular as well as the rest of the staff. So friendly and accommodating, great wine and menu suggestions. The escargot was superb! Our steak was cooked perfectly (medium rare is our preference). We took our dessert to go - wow! Off the charts!! This may have been our first visit to Clear Lake, but not our last. The Surfside will be our #1 go to for the most amazing meal and experience.“

“Wonderful time coming here for dinner while staying at the Best Western next door. Service was amazing, and their waitress who was serving us was extraordinary polite and helped us with any questions we had about what all was on the menu. The Hogan Egg Rolls and Cheeseburger Pub Bites were hot and fresh and tasted great. The Passion Fruit Pork Chop was tender and very flavorful. The Braised Beef Short Rib was nice and hot, and had good flavor to it. And the New York Style Cheesecake with Chocolate drizzle and Strawberries was divine and very fluffy with great taste to it.

Was a great choice choosing to eat here for dinner, and the price for the food too made it worth coming here. Very much will be coming back here again sometime.

Update: Came back here again for drinks and some food to unwind and had another great experience. Ordered a Strawberry Margarita and a Pub Punch. Both had wonderful flavor with a great balance of flavor and alcohol to them. The appetizers of Mozzarella Sticks, Cheeseburger Pub Bites, and Hogan's Egg Rolls tasted great. And the Brownie Bottom Pie Desert we ordered was delicious.

Once again, can't reiterate how good this place is and will definitely be coming back again.“

I went for the Mahi Mahi sandwich paired with onion rings, and both were absolutely delicious- flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Their cocktail selection is impressive too, offering a variety of refreshing options. And of course, the view of the sunset over the lake was breathtaking, making the whole meal even more memorable.
