Just happened to be in Clear Lake and found this donut shop open. I have never had such fresh tasty donuts in my life. Absolutely the best. I see why they get the ratings they do.

I finally got lucky and had time to stop into this donut shop. Used to live nearby and will be moving back sometime.These are the absolute best donuts I have ever had. The frosting was so delicious and you could tell made out of such quality ingredients. I couldn’t even believe it. This place is truly a diamond in the rough. Super friendly owner also. Can’t say enough good about this place.

We visited South Shore Donut Co. on a Sunday and purchased 1/2 dozen varied donuts. All of the donuts were dry and stale. They were at least a day or two old. We DO NOT recommend.

Well, we just had to stop here when we were in town. We heard they were great and award winning. They didn't disappoint. We got a 6 pack of doughnuts to share during our time there. They had so many unique flavors that brought back memories. Service was fun and friendly and definitely helped us choose the 6 we wanted.
Flavors we choose: stuff lemon, cookie n creem, butterfingers, birthday cake, cinnamon surgery, chocolate wasted.(name are not 100% what is on the menu)
