Lakeside Landing Kitchen + Bar

Beautiful view, but... Long wait. Salad had a butt end in it and had wilted. When we told the waitress, she offered to replace it, but we explained that we didn't want another salad. Tried ordering fries. Charged for everything, including the salads which cost an extra $3.00 a piece. Waitress wouldn't show me a breakdown of the bill until I had paid. No reimbursement, no replacement. Dirty toilets. No soap.

We went twice. First time all was good, second time they were short staffed and it took forever to get waited on.

Even though it was a soggy evening, we enjoyed our experience at Lakeside Landing. Seafood salad was delicious!

We ate outside in the partial sun and it was almost too warm so eating wasn't very enjoyable. Plus, there were two groups eating that were very loud & noisy. We've eaten here before, last fall, and it was almost too cool with the wind coming off the lake. Hoping to eat here sometime with good weather.

Workers were clueless about what was going on. Had to wait when open tables were available and then after being seated 10 minutes went and got my menus myself. Food was horrible, Italian beef was cold rubbery, dry and bun was soggy. All seven of our party had bad food. Up charged us a bunch of stuff we didn’t expect and just don’t care at all about their job.

Sitting on the dock to eat was awesome. This is a place you go to for the atmosphere. The service was good. The food was average at best.

Go for drinks and the dock. Maybe grab an appetizer if you’re hungry. Their fries were good.

What a place to eat lunch. It's such a great spot looking out to the waters of Clear Lake. Food was served fast. The server was very attentive. Calamari, best I have had in years.

Just ate lunch there and I was not impressed at all.. the view was great, he crab nachos were also very good. But salads were?. Taco salad said there were black beans, none, very small amount of beef and ice Beth lettuce. Asked for avocado,. Got the salads, no taco sauce, avocado. Asked again for taco sauce since I did order a taco salad. Was brought French dressing. Did not realize it until after I poured it on the salad. Asked for salt and pepper and never was brought. Got the bill and was charged for the avocado. After complaining which I usually don't do, they did give us 10.00 off on the bill. Will not be back!

Being able to enjoy lunch on the “dock” was wonderful, we did have a perfect day.

The food fills your belly, not exciting. Pretty much deep fried or a salads made with ice berg lettuce ?.

We had the fish and chips. I like the panko crusting, it was too thick IMO. And the shoestring fries were fine along with the sweet potatoe fries, I’m glad those were an option. A $3 up charge seemed high, but it’s probably standard.

$17 for fish and chips
$3 up charge for sweet potatoe fries
$7 for a virgin Bloody Mary

Bartender/Manager refused to serve a strawberry daiquiri because they didn’t have the proper cups. Asked if they could make it and pour it into the plastic cups that were sitting on the bar. She refused, saying “it wouldn’t add up right. When I asked what wouldn’t add up right, she said I can refuse you service for being mean. I wasn’t mean, just asking questions. And No, I hadn’t drank a drop the whole day before trying to order the daiquiri. Whoever worked as manager on June 16th 2024 in the evening needs customer service training because she cost the restaurant customers and we will go elsewhere from now on. Bye bye lakeside.
