Food poising from bad meat
Tried this bakery for the first time since I’ve heard good reviews. Got the brisket and egg kolache as well as single fruit kolaches (apple, strawberry, apricot, cherry, blueberry). The sign says “fresh baked daily” but the apple one that we tried right away is definitely not fresh baked and obviously made with a dab of canned apple filling. Haven’t tried the others yet but they were all packaged in single plastic containers so I suspect they are not fresh baked. The only redeeming quality of the brisket and egg kolache was the bread. That was good. The filling (which was 99% egg as there was one pea sized piece of brisket in the entire bun) was bland and unappetizing. I was also unimpressed with the staff; when I came in, I said it was my first time visiting and when I had questions about what was in a couple items, the person seemed very blunt and annoyed. Said “just look at the menu” which consisted of the name of the item and price but did not describe what was in them and also was not the full menu because I had to ask about the fruit ones that are not listed. Definitely disappointed and won’t return.

I tried a raspberry without cream cheese and a brisket kolache and they’re fantastic. Love the flavors and texture. Would recommend!
The kolaches that I got were delicious but I was rather frustrated with the service. I wanted six variety kolaches in a box. The girl insisted I take the ones on top of the counter that were all single packaged in plastic. Why? I just wanted a box of fresh kolaches to say happy birthday to my Mom, not a bunch of plastic containers that seemed so wasteful. Is this because they were old and needed to go? It makes me wonder how fresh those others must’ve been. Mine were good but I wonder how much better those probably were. Well nobody else was in the parking lot at 10 o’clock on a Sunday morning so I’m not sure who got to taste them but it wasn’t me.

First time visiting Coaches, great atmosphere & customer service. Being a TX native, this hits the spot. They also do buffalo chicken & pepperoni kolaches- by request. Big party hit!

Went 30 minutes after opening, expecting fresh kolaches. The fruit kolaches were clearly old and only three left. Dry bread and canned pie filling. There was no cream cheese, which I saw in a previous review you had to ask for cream cheese. Without seeing them on the menu at all or in the display case, how would one know to ask. The savory ones were okay, but the bacon tasted off and seemed drier than the others. Growing up in Texas myself, these didn’t hit the spot.

Cute little bakery with a mom and pop feel. Always smells delicious and the person at the counter is always nice. Great place if you're looking for a legit Texas kolache 10/10

Amazing
I've been going to Coaches since I was 16. It's just simple. Meat and Cheese in bread and it does it to perfection. Honestly it's not even flashy. But really good food. Great breakfast and always nice people. Thanks for sponsoring my breakfast so many times!!
Never had kolaches until Coaches and they did not disappoint. Not only are the kolaches amazing, the cinnamon rolls were delicious!! The service and atmosphere was awesome as well. I can't wait to suggest these for our next team meeting!
