We really like they meats and seasoning. Usually moist and flavorful with great portions. Great homemade chorizo. They raised prices about 25% in 2024 and are no longer that much cheaper than a restaurant. Their salsas are quite watery and could use a pinch of salt and more lime. Usually get tacos but tried a burrito recently and it was huge and lots of meat. The grilled onions with every meal are nice. It can be hard to know when they're there as I've had google maps show "open" and there's no truck, but if you see this one give it a try! One of the better taco trucks.

I got the chicken and steak tacos. It was okay the chicken was very plain and the only thing saving it was from the salsas they gave me. If you’re gonna get tacos probably stick with anything else but the chicken.

My girlfriend and I had the amazing opportunity at eating at El burrito loco tonight and we are by far incredibly impressed with not only the quality of food but also the quality of the service. They have by far the best horchata in the Des Moines area, they also provide this other that's made out of hibiscus flower it's incredibly delicious. As far as meals go I had their signature El burrito loco which is by far the best burrito I've had in the morning. My girlfriend on the other hand has one of each their tacos that they offer and was incredibly impressed with each taco particularly the carnitas. I most certainly know where I'm going when I'm craving burritos. Unfortunately I could not provide photos because I was too busy devouring this burrito ??
Looked up taco trucks near me and found this gem! A few miles away from WDM, and saves me a trip to DSM for great street tacos. I had the Locos burrito and Asada and Alpastor tacos. Sublime!
