This brewery offers an excellent setting for enjoying a pint or two, conveniently located in the vibrant Iowa River Landing. During my visit, I took advantage of their happy hour and sampled two of their expertly crafted beers. I was particularly impressed by the inviting outdoor patio and the spacious, open layout of the interior, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for patrons.

We have a child with allergies. We asked the people cooking about what allergies were in the chicken nuggets. They were rude and passive aggressive. When people ask about allergies, they don’t do it to be annoying. They ask because they want to enjoy your food and simply want to keep breathing while doing so. They ended up not knowing what, if any allergies, were in it. Restaurants need to know what ingredients are in their food and what potential risks are in their food. We know it’s a hassle, we check everything every day. We were not being demanding about making something special, we just wanted to know what our child could safely eat. We enjoyed the beer, but this needs to be addressed within their team. This has got to be a health code violation not knowing allergies and reporting to customers the restaurant doesn’t know. Parent rant over.

Delicious pizza & tasty beer, with a nice selection of both. Do yourself a favor and try this pizza! The crust, which is often just an afterthought, was really good.

My favorite place to go seat on patio in summer time. Atmosphere and energy super nice! They have several varieties of beer one of my favorite lemon made shandy 😊and berries Mule. Great place to go 👌 Sean is always very good with customers I had a great experience every time when I go to backpocket :)

Both bartenders I interacted with provided exceptional service and suggestions on beers and menu items. I got a sausage and pepperoni oven fired pizza that was just freaking delicious!! The beer was great too!
I got the big chocolate chip cookie to go- it wrapped up the night quite nicely. Backpocket is on my 'go back to' list for Coralville, Iowa.
