“I came to Iowa City for a sleep study and they ended the sleep study at 330am. I hung at the hospital for a bit cause I was on the motorcycle and didn’t feel like starting the trip home in the middle of the night. Eventually I went to look for breakfast and I found this place open, and am I sure glad I did. I walked in and the manager was an absolute saint. Said I could sit in here and hang out for a bit to allow the sun time to come up. Then she made me the most amazing bagel sandwich (which I didn’t know were a thing). I will definitely come back here when I’m Iowa City, now that I know it’s here. If you get the chance, y’all owe it to yourselves to at least try it.“

“Went in wanting to order a cold smoked salmon on an everything bagel but unfortunately they were out of both salmon and everything bagels they then offered if I would like to take up to 12 bagels of any flavor that they had left but I asked if I could switch to a different sandwich, the herb chicken, which was phenomenal. you can tell the staff was in a good mood as they were dancing around behind the counter they were super nice and super sweet. Will absolutely go there again next time I'm in tow.“

“I haven't had a Jamba in the 11 years that I left California, so imagine my surprise to find one on a doctor's appointment at U of I!!! I was so excited to have a real smoothie, something I had been missing for years...a Orange Dream Machine!! Although this is in a Brueggers bagels, they have the concept, sad that they don't have a true Jamba with all the offerings that a California Jamba has, they were still able to give me a small taste of home! If you're in Iowa City, try an Orange Dream Machine with or without a protein boost... it's yummy 😋“
