Food good but the woman who checked me out was super rude. I don’t usually write reviews but I was already having a bad day and she made it more difficult. I asked for 2 plain bagels with cream cheese and proceeded to pay. I realized I didn’t ask for them toasted. I asked hey can I get both of those toasted as well. She very rudely said “next time maybe you should say that before you pay.” It was an honest mistake I didn’t know it costed more and I didn’t need them to be toasted if it was the big of a deal. I would have happily taken them non toasted but she proceeded to be rude and have a terrible attitude with me. Terrible customer service skills.

Wow! Was I impressed! Before I could finish paying for my two bagels, they were ready in a bag at the counter! The women taking my order at the register was friendly, repeated my order and told me on my rewards, I earned a free bagel with cream cheese. She asked me if I wanted to use it. She told me to have a great day and smiled! My Western Bagel was awesome. There was lots of veggies on it and the rest of the ingredients were great! I’ve experienced the highs and lows of this restaurant as I have been a frequent customer for years. Kudos to what you are doing today! Now we don’t have to drive to the Riverside Brueggers, which was very marginal , probably a 2 on the scale. Welcome back to the Coralville neighborhood. Keep a watchful eye, so the quality doesn’t slip! Sara

Ordered 5 rosemary olive oil, and received 5 plain, which is huge bummer since I did an order pick up. I get that the plain and rosemary olive oil bagels look similar, but almost half of my order was incorrect and the olive oil bagels were the whole reason I picked the place. The bagels are good, but the attention to detail at this location could improve.

Reopened recently under I assume new management. The ordering is backwards from what it was before with no signage so that’s confusing. A lady walked out because of this. Also they ask your name when you order which is great but after ordering a sausage, egg, cheese sandwich and a bagel with cream cheese the guy yells out egg cheese when my order was done. Not my name bro, and could be one of several waiting orders not to mention I had two bagels not just one. Needs improvement. Food was good though.

Got there and they had 4 bagels (2 salt, 2 French toast). It was 11:20am and they close at 2 pm. No intentions of making any more.

This place is absolutely terrible since it re-opened. The staff is rude and unorganized. They never have enough food made. They need better management or better staff. They made a weird environment for all the customers being so loud and chaotic.

The people working here are great, the only unfortunate part is the store clearly has not invested in maintenance and upkeep. It looks like it has had $0 put into it since I was a kid. The bagels are still great, they’re the closest thing to real bagels, but just needs some investment!
Has been “temporarily” closed for close to a year. I think we can say it’s permanent at this point.

Understaffed, and generally messy. When employees have trouble making simple sandwiches or out of ingredients like lettuce you know there are management issues. This location and the one downtown have both gone downhill badly.

Service and quality are declining rapidly. I used to love coming to this location but now they seem to ALWAYS get my order wrong and my sandwiches are cold and soggy. I thought it was a one-time incident but it's not.
