One of our favorite places to eat. We travel frequently so we have been to several of their locations. Food and service are consistently good at all locations. Only 4 stars on atmosphere because for me its a bit loud but it is a bar with televised sports so it is to be expected and we tend to eat an early dinner...the Iowa City location has glass block up by the ceiling and the sun inevitably is in my eyes almost every time we visit. The food and service (Brynn was exceptional) make it worth the slight discomfort I feel.

Spacious rooms, we were able to sit near the t.v to watch the baseball game. The ribeye steak was delicious and all the sides were good. Cornbread tastes great, food was warm and cooked fresh. My family really likes BBQ and we did not have anything negative to say, even the sweet tea was good.

Ive door dashed it twice since I’ve been here for work. The brisket is very tender and done really well. All the sides I tried were excellent. I am on the road a lot and always get bbq at least once while I’m in a city. Usually never twice lol. Jethros is the best I’ve had outside of Texas and Kansas City. It’s really well done and they obviously put a lot of effort in and it shows.

I hate to do this but our food was so horrible I feel inclined to share. :/ We ordered the pulled pork sandwich, bbq/garlic parm wings, baked beans, corn, and mac & cheese. First of all, we went to dine in but the place smelled so horribly of sewage we couldn’t bear it so we took food to go. The pulled pork sandwich looked great, then tasted just like the smell of the place. 🤢 Wings were soggy & the bbq ones tasted sour. Mac and cheese was good but bland. The corn was terrible, also tasted like sewage. The best things were the corn muffins. $50 down the drain, we should have just left in the first place. I would not recommend this place.

Did order on line. Bought three meals and two were horrible. Mine was a pulled pork sandwich. Sandwich was dry and even had a sharp bone in it. Sick all night . Other horrible meal was the burnt brisket. Burnt and dry with honey on it. Never ordering from them again.
The price was very reasonable. The restaurant was clean and nice. Unfortunately, the BBQ was pretty dry, and the mac and cheese was very bland. That's probably why they have a lot of sauces at the table to help with that.

Food was amazing!! Service was top notch. Only thing lacking was the napkins. Would expect a BBQ place to have a heavy duty napkin instead of McDonald's quality ones. But still highly recommend this place!!
