Tried going there today to find it’s closed due to lack of staff. Such a disappointment, I hope this isn’t permanent.

Traveling for work. Tried to order online. Online ordering was not available. Tried calling and the phone just rang and rang with no answer. It was open according to their own website. I guess they don't want my business. Very disappointing.

Great chicken sandwich and the cheesecake was divine! We enjoyed our meal, though it was hard to hear each other over the music playing! We will eat hear again!

I am not sure who allowed you guys to use the word Chicago with this pizza but slap yourself. Not only is there thin crust not thin there was no sauce and the pizza was doughy!! 6 bucks for 2 to go fountain drinks times must really be tough. I’m sitting in the hospital with my child and all we wanted was some warm food and this was AWFUL.

Food was cold! Looked like the spaghetti was reheated in the microwave. Waitress was very inattentive and rude. Kitchen staff and other workers were all hanging out at the bar instead or attending to customers. Waitress did not check on me and my kiddos at all or ask us how the food tasted. I was told these were fresh vegetables. WORST EXPERIENCE I’ve ever had!!

Stopped by after passing it on the way to Wig and Pen a few weeks ago. Far superior pizza! D was on the bar and provided excellent service. The GM was rocking the kitchen and came out to ask if we were enjoying our meal. We had the artichoke spinach dip with PATSTA chips and it was awesome! Created our own deep dish pie which was better than Wig and Pen. Great variety of beers on tap. We will be back!!!

Fast and friendly service. Pizza was excellent!!!The Wig and Pen used to be my favorite pizza place, but Old Chicago would give them a run for their money! We ordered the Scilian pepperoni pizza rolls and a large Chicago 7 thick crust pizza.

If I could leave negative stars I would. We arrived at 6pm and didn’t get our drinks till about 30 mins later. All the beer were wrong. Food didn’t arrive till almost 8, and food was cold. Manager was wearing tie die shirt and looked like sweatpants so we didn’t know who was in charge. Restaurant was not busy (which now we see why). Some in our party never got waters, and boneless wings didn’t come out till around 8:15. Our waiter was extremely nice and tried his best but this was an absolutely horrible experience. Old Chicago is usually a favorite of ours but we will never be back.

Calzone was good. Salad just average. They were short on help so service was extremely slow. Staff were trying to do the best they could.

The restaurant was recommended by my oldest son who actually worked at a different Old Chicago. The menu was pretty well rounded there was something for everyone. My son was a little disappointed that there was an item that he used to liked it. They had taken off the menu but that certainly wasn't this individual restaurant's fault. It was a decision made by the chain. The food was good. There really was no complaints. I am an electric wheelchair and they were very accommodating to me. They even put us in a back room or there wasn't a lot of people so I had extra space for my chair and that was very nice. A waitress was really nice and attentive. She brought us everything we asked for and came back to check on us.

I’m from Chicago and we came to Iowa to visit family. I had my grand children with me and I saw the name Old Chicago. We ordered sausage and cheese pizza and bone in wings. The pizza was terrible tiny little pieces of chopped hamburger and the hardest thin crust pizza ever. The wings were the only thing that was good with the sweet sauce..

It makes me a little sad to write this review. Used to love coming here..food was always amazing. There was probably more staff in there than patrons. The server had to be told to come wait on us..didn't write anything down. 45 minutes go by and we didn't even have our appetizers, he walked by we had to stop him to ask if our food was coming anytime soon because he clearly had no intention of stopping. We were told it would just a few more minutes and we requested refills on our drinks. Another 10 minutes go by..no food no refills. At that point we canceled our order and left. No one seemed to care or be apologetic about it..didn't even seem like there was any management going on. Never in my life have I walked out of a restaurant like that. Won't be back.

Very disappointed..waited almost a hour and a half for our food. Some of our food was cold when we did get it. Will never be back. Staff didn't apologize or act like they even cared. Was awful.
