“03/26/25- Our first time at Olive Garden in 20 years and this location has got to be the best one in the country, large super clean dining room, building was well maintained and we loved the decor. The service from our server was fantastic and the food was hot, full of flavor and bountiful. The 3 of us were blown away by how great our dining experience was!!“

“Noodles and Company is a great spot for lunch or dinner. My original review reported that they have lots of vegetarian options. On my recent trip, however, I discovered that many of the originally vegetarian dishes now contain chicken. Presumably, you could ask them to remove the chicken, although I doubt the price would drop to reflect that. There are also optionsade with zucchini noodles ("zoodles"). They have several types of mac and cheese as well as an "asian noodles" selection.

Vegetarian options: There are a good number of vegetarian dishes available. I haven't eaten here for several years, and I remember the menu as being all vegetarian with the option to add meat. Now the menu is a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.“

“Bad picture because I annihilated this food. I always get the Paneer Pakora appetizer and dump it on the Paneer Tikka Masala. Brandon gets Lamb Vindaloo. And garlic naan. You will not regret eating here or ordering. Excellent service too.“

“Never been to a panera bread before and maybe it’s normal, but the butter was frozen lol. Couldn’t get it to spread, pretty annoying lol. Coffee was good though.

Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly as it’s in the middle of a mall.“

Parking: Can be tight to find a spot to park, they have a drive - thru that backs up easily during the lunch hour.“

“Ate here on November 7 in the early afternoon. I ordered the baked white fish dinner, which included a large roll, French fries and a side salad. The fish was a large portion and baked to perfection. Our waitress was friendly and took good care of us. All employees were friendly. The place appeared clean and there is ample parking. Prices are reasonable. Would definitely come back again when in Iowa City.“

“TLDR: Smash is a low-key, bright, little spot to get clean food offerings & houseplant lighting envy w/ indoor, seasonal outdoor seating, a drive-thru that works well w/ their preorder options. It’s the kind of smoothie shop you’d expect in a cosmopolitan big city w/ small city touches. Smash smoothies are made with real fruit & their juices tend to be unexpectedly delicious–like heck no these ingredients shouldn’t even taste palatable together so why is this so good?!–delicious. Smash has quiet indoor seating away from the UIowa hustle & bustle. The spot also has seasonal sidewalk-cafe style outdoor seating that seems pet friendly. You can preorder online & pick up your order via their drive-thru if you’re just driving from one end of the corridor to the other. Iykyk they’re awesome w/ preordering. One of the two owners is a congenial woman who is knowledgeable & bubbly about their offerings.“

“I've visited Heirloom Salad Company many times over the years. For dining in and meeting with friends, there are plenty of seating options. The soups and salads are delicious. Service is fast and friendly. Having a shared space with Java House is a bonus for delicious coffee.“
