We have been there several times but this evening was terrible I ordered the seafood enchiladas which the menu specifies only crab. They had no crab only shrimp. When I brought it to the waiters attention, he said that they have a combination of shrimp and crab in those enchiladas and I said that is not wet. The menu indicates it indicates crab only no mention of shrimp. My husband ordered the shrimp, enchiladas and they brought him enchiladas supreme, which were filled with beef. When we brought it to the waiters attention, he argued with my husband, but took them back. When my crab enchiladas were brought, they had a very strange taste to them, and I didn’t eat them. My husband‘s red sauce on his shrimp enchiladas was so spicy. He couldn’t eat it when he went to pay for our food. The waiter told him that there are three different types of red sauce, depending on the spiciness that you want, but the original waiter never had indicated that to us needless to say we left without eating very much of our dinner at all, and do not intend on ever returning.

I love this place, usually there are 1-2 waiters ever. So if you go there every now and then you get to know them pretty well. The food is great, great for a night out that you don't want to cook and just want some tasty (not super healthy) food.
Great waiters, atmosphere, food, and they have Mexican coca-cola for a bonus!

My wifey and I and some friends, was trying to decide where to eat, so I seen this Mexican restaurant and I said. How about this si senor 2.. We all enjoyed it and I told some friends if they are ever in Coralville make sure you stop in at Si senor 2 get some delicious Mexican food and some tasty margaritas

We ate an early dinner here on Thursday 10/10/24, and to say it was fantastic would be a severe understatement! Massive portions, excellent tasting food, great prices and THE best service. Do yourself a favor, if you want the best in authentic Mexican food, give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

THEE best yet! Portion sizes are great! Street tacos were packed, a generous amount of WELL SEASONED meat. They also threw in grilled onions & pepper with the tacos which isn’t talked about enough (👌🏾) Choriqueso is the best, was a little on the thick side but who doesn’t like em thick 😉 Ordered through Uber eats, but definitely plan on stopping in for round 2 soon. Kinda upset that I drove past this hidden gem ALL this time, and just assumed they had mediocre food like most of the Mexican restaurants in Johnson county.

Really great place! I’ve eaten here 3 times now and the food is always hot and delicious. The servers have always been attentive and polite and the prices are good compared to other Mexican restaurants around here. The portions are big too so I always have another meal’s worth of leftovers.
