I was with a large party tonight. Reservations had been made, and we were granted our request to sit near a big screen tv. Love our Iowa Women's basketball! My meal was $16 and larger than I'd imagined (grilled pork loin sandwich). Hot, crisp fries. The pork was tender and not greasy. Tavern Blue has some of my favorite pizza I've had anywhere, let alone the Iowa City area. My friends and I have really been liking the seafood pizza, but the buffalo chicken is for sure my go-to. The service is quick and always friendly. This is a great place to bring not only your close friends for a fun night out, or to bring the kiddos for a fun activity out of the house!

Stopped by yesterday and ordered the carnitas pizza, and it was AMAZING. Also our server Maddie was terrific! She was so kind and attentive made our visit much better! Great place, would recommend.
