I was craving a burger and had heard good things about this place. We ordered our food at the counter where everything was ala cart and was asked for a tip so not having been there, I tipped 15%. We then had to walk to the bar and order our soda where I was once again asked to leave a tip. I declined this time. I ordered a burger and fries and my wife ordered a burger and onion rings. I usually cut my burger in half but nobody came and asked us how aloud meal was so I didn’t get a knife. The burger patties were so overcooked they were like charcoal briquettes. The lettuce was soggy and there was a microscopic amount of Thousand Island dressing on the bun. My fries were decent. My wife’s onion rings were amazing though. Excellent ranch dressing on the side. If you want a good burger, I’d skip this place and go to Al’s or even Culver’s. Nobody ever did come by to ask us about our meal. Got filled up but they have to do better to get my repeat business. Not sure what the tip was for as we had to bus our own table. Lame

Lots of food, tasted great, although didnt have any beers, there seemed to he a million choices. Spacious, friendly, order up front and they bring the food to your table. Easy spot for a nice bite to eat and some beers if you'd like.

I had a great first experience at Armored Gardens. The food was absolutely delicious, and I only wish I had the chance to fully enjoy it. The only issue we ran into was that my daughter and I had only taken a few bites of our bowls before sealing them up to take home. She needed to use the restroom, so I went with her, and when we returned I assumed my fiancé had already taken everything to the car since our table was clear. Unfortunately, we later realized the wait staff had cleared and thrown away our meals. By the time we figured it out, we were already almost home.
In the end, we lost nearly $50 worth of food that we never really got to enjoy. While I give kudos to the staff for being prompt and attentive, it was really disappointing to lose our lunch (and leftovers) that way.
