Bootleg Hill Honey Meads is a delightful find in downtown Davenport. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating and a warm, welcoming vibe. I especially appreciated the absence of distracting TVs, allowing for genuine conversations and a relaxed experience.

The live music was a highlight, engaging yet not overpowering, creating the perfect backdrop for the evening. It's evident that Bootleg Hill values quality entertainment without overwhelming their guests.

The staff and fellow patrons were incredibly friendly, contributing to the overall pleasant ambiance. It's a place where you feel right at home, whether you're a local or just passing through.

If you're in the area and looking for a spot with great drinks, live music, and a welcoming environment, I highly recommend Bootleg Hill Honey Meads.

I will never support a business who doesn't pay the people that supply them. Bad business!

Bootleg enjoys boasting about using local product but never actually pays off their bee keepers. Thousands of dollars owed to their suppliers. Absolutely sickening and frustrating.

DO NOT SUPPORT!! I wish I could do 0 stars, but unfortunately 1 star is all I can do. They've stolen 1000s of dollars from bee keepers, and refuses to pay for their honey. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS UNTIL THEY PAY THEM BACK!

If i could give 0 I would. The owners are terrible and scam their suppliers out of the fresh honey they use. They need to pay the small business's they get their honey from!!!

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. They owe THOUSANDS of dollars to local bee keepers. They aren't paying their bills. This is beyond petty theft, its FELONY amounts they owe to multiple beekeepers. I'd leave negative 5 stars if i could.

I will never support this business. Bootleg Hill likes to use local honey and then not pay those farmers for the product that was provided with promise of payment.

Unless Bootleg comes forward and makes this right with the local farmers, and then publicly apologizes for their actions, I will never go here. I suggest you do the same.

It's incredibly sad to see such amazing product be overshadowed but the inability to pay local beekeepers for their honey. Theft should never be supported.

Do not conduct business with this establishment, either through patronization or supplying goods/services. They are beyond delinquent on several orders of honey, the main ingredient of mead, and have responded to requests of payment with verbal threats of physical action.

These actions are towards several small businesses and owners, not a one-off situation. Evidence can be found by searching the internet or FB. Please be aware of the type of people and their decisions that you choose to support.

They owe several beekeepers thousands of dollars for honey. Never paid the bills!

A place to go to when you want to have a stimulating conversation with peers without loud music drowning out your thoughts or your voice. Bootleg Hill specializes in MEAD. With a variety of meads to suit your palette, Bootleg Hill needs to be on your radar.

Beekeepers deserve to be paid for their product. The HONEY used to make mead. When I'm in the area I will make sure this is not one of my stops. Bad business.

Bootleg Meadery has recieved large shipmemts of honey from LOCAL beekeepers and have not paid for said honey. That's thievery at it's finest. Beekeeping is an expensive buisness and all parties involved need to be PAID, IN FULL!! I'd suggest doing buisness elsewhere for all your meads needs. And yes, I PERSONNALY know beekeepers that have NOT been paid for THEIR honey!!
