Love the Bedda Chedda burger the special homemade BBQ is to die for. Granite City is a little expensive but worth it. The service was great

My mom and I enjoyed our food and drinks.

We have eaten there before and things have been fine. Stopped in last night (Saturday) around 6:30 and hardly anyone was there. We were seated and found the table sticky; there were small pieces of paper, salt and a white substance. We asked that the table be cleaned again. The server came over and told us it would be sticky even if she wiped it down again. She did a quick, half-hearted wipe, not touching any of the debris that was still there. We had to point it out and she got a little agitated, saying the white substance wasn’t going to come off, arguing with us. We decided to leave and saw the hostess on the way out, telling her what had happened. She just said have a nice evening. No apology, as if she didn’t even hear us. There was a young man Archie front desk who said the same thing, but when we explained why we were leaving; he at least said oh no, I’m sorry.

Great service, beautiful restaurant with nice portions! Had their Cajun Pasta and chocolate cake. The cake slice is well worth the price. The pasta is as well. Very delicious.

Check your carryout orders! Multiple missing items. Food is hit or miss.

I actually just ordered the chicken alfredo and a side mac and cheese from here through doordash. Based on watching my screen, my dasher got to the restaurant about 15 minutes after I placed my order. According to the Dasher, your restaurant had already gave my food to the wrong deliver driver and they refused to remake it. It only takes about 10 seconds to slow down and verify that the name on the receipt is the same name on the dasher's phone. A tiny bit of attention to detail could go a long way here. Based on the restaurant's refusal to correct their own error, I will never order from or go here again, nor will I ever recommend this place to anyone. You need to do better!

Service at granite city has gone downhill since CoVid. This time, after being sat, we waited 5 min for the server to come and take our drinks order, and then after we got the drinks, it was another 15 minutes before she came to see if we were ready to order food. We had been ready to order before our drinks came out. The restaurant was maybe a quarter to a third full, but service was really slow. There were 3 of us and we were there for about an hour and 20 mins with it taking so long.

Our bartender Nikki was great! And the food was awesome. High recommend Cajun pasta & cosmic cow stout beer.

I'm originally from this area and Granite City was a favorite of mine. I now live in SC and am here for a visit. I traveled 900 miles and was tired so I door dashed. My dasher, Jennifer, was amazing but as for you....you made her wait for my order and my food was barely luke warm (my hotel is less than 1/2 a mile from you). Didn't get my extra BBQ sauce and you had no ketchup options for me. While you were a let down, I made sure to tip my dasher extra because you took so long!

Our waitress was amazing! The food was not even close to what we expected. The pastas had no flavor at all. The chicken wings and nachos were great. We really loved the sharable nacho choice. We were very disappointed and probably won't return but the atmosphere and service was amazing.

Sandwiches (BLT and burger) were good however sides (fries and mashed potatoes) were ice cold. There's a problem in the plating/stations in the kitchen and it was a Tuesday, not busy at all

I order from here often. Food is good — just can be very inconsistent. I can tell there are multiple chefs who cook things very differently which makes each food taste significantly different. Green beans are often undercooked as well. Just wish the food tasted the same as I can definitely tell some of the main cooks care more than the others and follow original recipe where others seem to cook it “their” way and it’s not as good. Like sometimes I’ll get a tomato sauce and other times I’ll get a bbq sauce.. it is weird.

We enjoyed our visit to Granite City in Davenport, IA. We had the ribeye. It was very good and had a good flavor. Our friends, who ate here for the first time, had the meatloaf and the bison burger. They enjoyed their meals as well. They said it was very good and enjoyed it as well. We didn't realize it was homecoming weekend. There were alot of young people dressed up and dining there also. Even though they were very busy our waitress and the rest of the staff made sure we were well taken care of and had plenty to drink and eat. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a great meal, pleasant atmosphere and courteous and friendly staff.
