I've always loved to come here for a quick sit down sandwich. Very basic menu but the selections are nice. I personally think the applesauce and potato salad are really good sides. Also has Gatorade on the fountain.

Based on the reviews, The Hungry Hobo - West Locust is a good, quick, and nice little in and out place to stop with tables to sit and eat. The food is decent, but mostly all about the bread, which is about twice as thick as all of the other ingredients combined. Prices are pretty good for the quality, but it is not the same quality that it was 10 years ago and costs drastically more. For example, one person paid 19 dollars for a king ham and swiss sandwich and waffle fries. The atmosphere is not the warmest, and the store is okay. A specific meal recommendation is the Hungry Hobos #11 pepperoncini, extra oil and vinegar, extra cheese, served hot, with chocolate cake a must.
