My husband and I live little over an hour away. We enjoy coming to the quad cities often. We by chance decided to try out Monarch Kitchen + Bar based off of their rating. All I can say is I am so impressed. Impressed with the care and quality of food. The wait staff are amazing.
I am a person who doesn’t use seed oils at home. To know I can go out and eat somewhere and know the ingredients are fresh and good for you means everything.

Best, AFORDABLE restaurant in town! Bass Street Chop House and Duck City, used to be tied for my best, but they are WAY TOO EXPENCIVE! Monarch is righ up there with their quality and selection, as wells their service, but at a FRACTION of the cost! I used to be 100% Vegan, now more like 75% ( It is hard to keep up)! Monarch has a Vegetarian plate that changes every 2-3 weeks, which is mostly Vegan, and all the dishes are fantastic, which keeps me coming back! I have hosted many...
Absolutely excellent food that happens to come with a great atmosphere. It looks stark on the outside, but it’s very warm and inviting on the inside. I had the salmon and I wish I took a picture.
