My wife and I moved out of Davenport years ago, but throughout the years, we always reminisce, "Hey, remember New China? How we'd eat there every other week and how delicious AND inexpensive it was?" We always wish there was a restaurant like this local to us nowadays, but it's a pipe dream. New China is one of a kind.My wife and I recently visited the QC area and stopped by to grab a bite here out of nostalgia. Prices are still super agreeable. Food quality is 110%. The family that opened and worked it are still there (it was crazy seeing the son all grown up!).This restaurant is one in a billion. My wife got her regular order, as did I, and I'm bittersweetly eating my leftovers as I write this. I hope this restaurant sticks around for years to come, and I pray nothing but good things happen to the family who run it. Thank you guys for all the incredible meals over the years! We're sure to order again when we're next in the area.
