My husband and I just spent our 20th anniversary there. Our server, Lala, was fantastic. She even took a picture of us and gave us a piece of chocolate cake to celebrate. The food was exceptional. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic dinner and service, we had a party of six, celebrating 3 birthdays and we were all happy we chose to dine here, very friendly staff, amazing food and an all around great atmosphere. Quiet enough to have a conversation, but not so quiet that we felt we had to whisper, everything was just right! Thank you for an amazing evening!

My fiance' and I came here for the first time on April 6. The atmosphere and service was great. Our server, Steve, deserves a huge raise. He was superb! I ordered prime rib and the creamed corn. That creamed corn was so amazing. My fiance' was very disappointed because his $80 lobster was rubnery and overcooked. Overall we would definitely go here again. Our meal was $182.

The food is always great- but what made my visit fabulous was Nicole my server. I am a solo diner, and traveler, so I'm used to getting the cold shoulder for most servers. She was outstanding from start to finish and made me comfortable and welcome. She's such an asset to the industry. I can't wait to come back and see her again

Lovely meal. Beautiful atmosphere, comfortable chairs. LaLa was our server and she was exceptional! Food is outstanding. We enjoyed shrimp cocktail and split a wedge salad to start. We each got the Maryland Delmonico Ribeye, which was grilled to a beautiful medium rare and was topped with crabmeat and broccolini. Sides are huge and meant to share. The heartland corn was delicious. Highly recommend!

Wow! This place is amazing. We are from the Minneapolis area, visiting Le Claire, and decided to try Ruthie’s. The entire experience was 5 stars. Our server, Amber, is a true professional - and sadly, that’s a rare experience, post Covid. She knew her menu, made good recommendations, and had everything timed perfectly. We started with French Onion soup and it was delicious, lightly herbed, not salty or overbearing beef flavor, the cheese was amazing. Next, fillet mignon (ordered medium), with the house marmalade. My compliments to the chef, it was a perfect medium, tender, juicy, pink, good flavor. Loved the marmalade but it was sweet, which I like, but others may not. It isn’t overbearing, so it doesn’t mask the flavor of the steak, but it is sweet. We shared the fries and they were fries, nothing special. We’ve had better at other steak houses. We’d definitely come here again, even if it’s a 5-hour drive from home, it was that good. And the view! Spectacular, top of the building, floor to ceiling windows, a great place to catch sunset or moonrise.

Our server GRACE was absolutely amazing she went above and beyond to make our experience amazing!!! The food was just ok this visit I'm thinking maybe a new chef was in the kitchen. But overall everything was great.
Had a great dinner last time I was in town... But this time when we walked in they were arguing at the hostess station, once they stopped we got seated. Waited about 5 minutes and got some bread Waited another 5 minutes and we got one glass of water.... Waited a few more minutes hoping to order drinks with no luck so decided to move to the bar since things weren't progressing.... Sat at the bar for 5 minutes with no bartender behind the bar.... Gave up and left. Maybe they are just having a bad night....

Ruthie's was an absolute treat and has a very fancy dinning environment. The staff are polite and will help you celebrate any occasion. My party was even served a complimentary dessert which was delicious~ Which can be said for ALL of their food. I didn't have a single thing that didn't taste like perfection~ If you're able to, try out a few of the cocktails. My favorite of the night was a green apple martini with carmel drizzle.

It was my birthday and my porkchop was all fat. The server forgot my husbands lobster tail. Took about 20 minutes to get after our food was delivered. His second drink from the bar took probably 15 -20 minutes. Also the blue cheese wasn't in the steak as ordered and the steak was medium well instead of medium rare.

We got seated right away even though we arrived 15 minutes before our reservation time. Waited 40 minutes for our 2 dinners. They did comp us a glass of wine for the wait. The food was good and fairly priced. Found it odd that they didn't clear things away as we were done with them (bread bowl, plates & knives used for bread) even though we stacked them and had them sitting at the tables edge. The servers had to do everything. There were no bus boys to clear tables or change out linens/table settings. They could benefit from having a couple of those to make turnaround quicker.
