I had always avoided this place as a sushi restaurant. However, there is a nice selection of other very tasty options. I love that the combinations come with soup and salad. I will be back.

Unfortunately, they maybe understaff (as it looked like it was just our waitress and the chef). It may take a while to get your food, but they do a great job and I always feel satisfied when I’m done! Got the Sushi Sashimi Combo and Godzilla Roll. Both very tasty to split with my husband. Would recommend to try at least once and support a local business! Nice,clean atmosphere. Needs more business!!

My wife ordered food at 6:30, arrived at the restaurant and was told the order would take an additional 30 minutes potentially and it did not seem like there were many staff available. They ran short of certain items and had to refund a portion of the bill which is fine, but nobody came around to apologize or offer something in addition to the inconvenience. Nobody seems to care and service has been slow for some time. Will not be returning after tonight for some time

I had the chicken teriyaki. Tender pieces of chicken on a bed of vegetables with a side of rice. The teriyaki glaze was very thin and didn't stick to the meat in the least, but it had a nice flavor.

Also, I had the soft shell appetizer crab. I don't recommend that particular item, though. The panko crust is comparable to honeycomb or cap'n crunch cereals in that it leaves your gums and roof of mouth feeling like they've been shredded by bland shards. Also, it is mostly breading and very, VERY little crab.

The service wasn't horrible. I can't complain about the service. She was very attentive. Not 5 star, though.

Food is always good. Accessibility wise, lacking

Wheelchair accessibility: The main entrance has steps, but the side entrance although level, the door is locked. So I can't go alone or else I'm stuck outside because I can't actually go in the main entrance to ask for the door to be unlocked... so I have to be sure to bring someone who can go inside on my behalf and request the door be unlocked.

Pros: Service was attentive, sushi fish was thick with extra meat on both ends, crab ragoons were sweater then crabier but that's how I like them, and the teriyaki steak had good vegetables with a decent amount of decent steak.
Cons: the restaurant was warmer and humid/stuffy, several flies. The steak teriyaki had about 2 teaspoons of sauce. Now the 3 pieces of meat and 4 pieces of broccoli that had sauce on it were good but 80% of my teriyaki meal didn't have even a drop of teriyaki on it.

My first experience here was weird to say the least. I agree with other recent reviews. The host has a bad attitude and makes you feel like you did something wrong by making her work. I ignored that and kept coming back but it's the same experience. I always greet her with a smile and tell her have a good day but she just looks unhappy and says nothing. Maybe she hates Americans idk. Sushi was decent but not great. There hibachi is actually some of the best I've had in the QC but they don't always serve it. Shiki did me bogus. "No soup or salad today" like what do you mean that's literally the only reason I chose to come here instead of Osaka. I went back in and asked if I'm not getting soup or salad why didn't you just charge me 12$ for the lunch special. 3 rolls for 12$. She charged me 18$ and claimed that they don't do lunch on Sundays. Just lazy. I'm not going back there. Terrible atmosphere and service.

Was looking forward to having high quality sushi , I'm guessing the waitress was not in a good mood, she sat us without saying anything, gave us a angry look and carelessly dropped the menus on the table as if to say I wish you would just go away, we ordered and got our drinks , she placed the drinks on the table with a Loud thud took the menus and walked away without saying anything. We were left waiting for our food listening to the people in the next booth also talking about how unfriendly and angry the waitress was acting. When the food came , my order was not correct, I had ordered a roll with tuna on top the one I got had eel wich i don't cair for on it , and the rolls were not arranged nicely on the plate , instead looked as though they were dumped on the plate without care. My partner ordered a pork dish , which came out as 2 pork cutlets breaded with panco cooked to the point of being utterly inedible. He didn't eat any of it. I choked down what I could of mine , we paid and left hungry , had to get fast food since we were not satisfied with the $ $70 we wasted on what was supposed to be a enjoyable dinner at shiki... as we left I couldn't help but think that was the most uncomfortable and horrible experience I have ever had. That waitress treated us so badly , nobody deserves to be treated like that. Having there night marred by such negative energy and rudeness. And the food was not good. I'll never go back.
