They seemed very short staffed! For a family of 3, we waited 30+ minutes for our food. Definitely not fast, but if we wanted it truly fast, we should have gone through drive through rather than dine in. We were there for approximately an hr total and only saw staff, apart from the guy cooking the burgers, when our food was brought out and the last 10 minutes when another staff member was cleaning and trying to work the window. Props to her for multitasking! That was actually pretty impressive to see. The food itself was ok but pretty bland compared to what we are use to at a Steak n Shake. While we weren't totally thrilled with our experience, we acknowledge that times get busy and people can only get so much done at one time. Staff was friendl, which was a plus. They need more employees though.

Food is better than average. Thats all that's good.
No customer service or friendliness what so ever.
Must use a computer to order and pay.
If you need anything, you get straight attitude from the staff.
No music in the restaurant except from way back in the kitchen.
Drinks are a scan to get filled.
They are doing everything to cut staffing costs and keeping the food just as expensive!
A hospital cafe would have a better overall experience and atmosphere than this joke!
Supposed to be a 50's themed restaurant not the Great Depression!!!!!

Nicholas was super nice and tried to help a customer that was being very rude to him. The man asked for a chocolate shake and proceeded to cuss at the employee because of a misunderstanding with him actually wanting a chocolate milk. He used unnecessary insults and was also yelling at his children in the dining room. The staff handled the situation very well and still treated him with kindness even when he was mean.

Wish I read this review sooner because it is true.You can't sit down and order anymore you must order and pay at kiosk. In order to get your drink filled you must scan bar code every time. The printer was broke so I had to ask an employee every time a member of our party needed a refill. The sweet tea was unsweetened, and when I asked for sweet tea the employee pointed me to the sugar packets. The bun on my burger was soggy and the new beef tallow fries were look warm at best. I used to love steak and shake but I won't be back to this one. And already seeing the other reviews this the location probably does not have long left in business if they keep this up this location will end up like the one on West Kimberly.

We had a great experience here! I wish I got the woman's name so I could give her a shout out. Our order was accurate and fast, plus the staff was actually friendly and respectful! She even found me after I pulled off as I had left my card. She walked out to the parking lot to return it to me. We'll go back to this location for sure!

The food was great. My issue was the dining room area wasn't not cleaned. The guy who brought our food to the table which was a cook. I was very disappointed at the fact that his work coat was dirty, there's a difference between food stains working in the kitchen versus dirty. As a food service and food handler this is unacceptable and unsanitized. I hope going forward that you all would do a better job presentation is still important in this industry.

Out of owners looking for lunch. Worst experience ever. Cold food, undercooked fries and 40 min for 2 burgers, two fries and 2 drinks. Plus they wanted a tip! Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

Stopped with a friend to grab a quick meal because there are no steak and shakes near my home anymore. I was out of town. I was a little frustrated with the kiosk ordering system. It seemed overly complicated.

I was missing my shake, kindly asked about it and got the response “okay? Ill get to you when i get to you” as the lobby is empty and drive thru is empty. To be greeted with a dirty look and rudeness. Its always been pleasant everytime ive came.
