We stopped here for a quick bite and the man had the Rhuben and fries. It was delicious. The service was slow but the server was very pleasant. Always a fun place. A great selection at great prices in The Village of East Davenport.

Had a good Ruben sandwich! Staff was great!

Food was great, as was the service. We had a large group for a fantasy draft and we were easily accommodated. I did find the music a bit loud and it did interfere with conversation a bit at times.

We did not have a great experience here. Service was slow and/or non-existent, food quality on one of the entrees was poor. We're not ones to normally complain and we were trying to enjoy the evening so just ate it and kept quiet. We did have to go retrieve our own condiments and initiate drink refills and ask again for the extra lemon we'd requested. When the tab came we were surprised we were up-charged for onion rings even though those were offered as one of the side choices with no explanation of varied costs. I simply asked for that upcharge to be rescinded to offset the poor entree and we're denied even that very modest discount which was not unreasonable considering the inattentive service and poor food. Very disappointed!!!!!!!!

Great atmosphere, food was great. We ordered the fries seasoned and they were just a little too seasoned for us but they were still good. Wait staff and bartender were not knowledgeable about a particular mixed drink but managed to look it up and hit it out of the park.

I have been coming to this establishment for over 20 years. This time I was surprised by our overall experience. We arrived after 6:00 pm and restaurant was not overcrowded.
There seemed to be only one waitress and she was busy with others, so we seated ourselves. She was attentive but her demeanor was not overly friendly. Probably because she was doing all the work herself. Our order was correct and arrived within 15 minutes or so of ordering. However, tenderloin arrived barely warm. Fish was extra crispy and slightly dry. Turkey avocado bacon sandwich was great. Our Canadian bacon pizza took a little longer to come out but was great. The restaurant appeared clean. Overall had a great dining experience with a few complaints of some of our food not being as good. We did not make a big deal out of it because the waitress had enough to do.

Worst experience today! My family and i went in to eat, and ordered a variety of different food. I got a meal that came with garlic bread, it was burnt and rock solid and after dropping it off and me mentioning it wasn't edible our server proceeded to tell me she noticed it but didn't say anything to the kitchen? My husband ordered the french dip sand-which, the meat was bland and SO dry! He was going to eat it anyhow and just dip it in lots ajou which was ALSO flavorless. We are not picky people and honestly easy going and very understanding. My husband will also usually eat anything. He said it just wasnt good and he simply couldnt sit and enjoy the meal. He took two bites out of it and couldnt do it. He asked for maybe something like a burger which cant really be messed up and they could take the food off and he would go without. They said no. They will get fired if they take it off. And the owner was out of town so i couldnt talk with him. Then very unhappy, my sister told them we wanted it removed and they could take there food back, they offered to make the burger but he had to have the old fries seeming nervous and telling us the kitchen did not want to remake food either because of the owners yelling and threatening! And told us how the owner threatens to fire people over stuff like this all the time.

Don't waste your time at this place. My order was wrong and the food was cold. When I mentioned it to the waitress she said she was sorry and walked away. I asked her to remove the food from my bill because I took one bite and it was disgusting. She said no, they can't do that because of the owner. I left and called the restaurant. Asked to speak to the owner or manager and the manager was there the whole time. This place was not busy and I know why now. Do yourself a favor and SKIP this horrible restaurant.

Long a fave place. Grilled tenderloin was great as always. Onion rings excellent too. Enjoyed shared Greek salad. Did a good Black & Tan.
