It is such a cute shop! stopped in with a friend as the start of our Iowa Indie Bookshop Tour for the day and was recommended and bought a wonderful drink made by the wonderful staff member working the counter!! Would definitely made the drive and visit again!
such a beautiful space and wonderful staff! my friend and I stopped in for the iowa indie bookshop tour and the gentleman working was so kind and recommended/made us wonderful drinks to start our day. don't live in town but would make the drive just to visit again.
I was so excited to try this place because I know the owner. Coffee delicious. Super cute atmosphere. However, and this is a big however.... the "barista" was rude from the moment we walked in the door. We asked where the menu was. He was very annoyed and pointed where it was. We asked what the pastries were (we didn't see the placards) and once again the batista was very annoyed with us. At this point my thought was I'm not coming back.
