Not sure what manager came out but they were as rude and inappropriate as I have ever dealt with. I understand you are a new restaurant but the mistakes the staff makes aren't the fault of a customer. I would avoid at all costs they are not people you want to do business with!

As a chef on vacation it's hard to find a "good" place to eat. I saw this place and figured we'd give it a shot. Wow what a terrible idea that was the service was sub par and despise us being one of 4 tables in the whole restaurant. They sat us and other next to a the most obnoxious 8 top ever. So rude and annoying. Honestly the food was good in my opinion a touch expensive for what it was but it was pretty good. I feel like this could of been a easy 4 star or 5 star but the experience was one of the worst I've ever had sadly.

Everything was pretty good. But they definitely need to do something about the bread that they bring out before the meal. It is tough and chewy. Not a good start to the meal. Thankfully we enjoyed everything else.

Not sure why there is bad reviews. Took wife for 10 year anniversary. Got us in before our booked time. Got the Tomahawk and it was cooked perfect. Waitress was always available and checked in often. If I was from around here I'd go again

I had the most delicious dinner at The Garrison last night. Everything from starter, main entrees, dessert and drinks were on point. This will be my all time favorite restaurant in the QC with very relaxing ambiance. Lovely experiences everytime. The friendly and attentive services from the owners and staffs.Oh…oh the Speakeasy ? I have got the best and prettiest drink ever, the Downtown Giggle Water ❤️

I LOVE the Garrison. The Food: My meals have always been good and it is improving as they have only been open about 6 months. My favorite meal currently is the Sea Bass but you also can't beat their steaks which are cooked to perfection. The duck breast is also to die for. Everyone at my table enjoyed sharing. I have an inside connection here and the food is going to be even more amazing so stay tuned! The Cocktails: Unique and fun. I have tried quite a few but I always come back to the Behind Closed Doors. Their Speakeasy across the hall has a different drink menu but you can order any of the drinks from either place. If you want something truly different, you must try their liquor flavored cotton candy. For handcrafted beverages from high quality ingredients, the prices are quite reasonable. The Atmosphere: I like the dark and cozy atmosphere and the cushy chairs there. I'm from the midwest but I'm always always cold so I usually hate to venture out during the winter. The Garrison is one place I don't worry about being uncomfortable as it always feels comfortable to me. I think some men might feel a bit warm here....but maybe its worth the "sacrifice" if the ladies feel comfortable wearing strapless dresses? Since they haven't been open during the summer months yet, I have no idea if they will be blasting the A/C like everyone else then but they have an outdoor dining area and that's where I will be if they do.

Good - The food was amazing and it’s why I gave this place five stars. My table ordered the Garrison Eggs (deviled eggs with lobster) and the Goat Cheese Bruschetta for appetizers and we were very pleased with both. I’m usually a steak person but the Whiskey Apple Pork Chop entree got my attention and I’m so glad I ordered it! It was perfection! I ended up going there the next weekend and ordered the same thing.Staff - The staff was welcoming and our table was ready when we arrived. I had the same server both times. For the first visit, she was pretty talkative with the table next to us. I almost think she didn’t see us and that’s why it took a little while to get drinks. Other than that, the service was outstanding.Ambience - I do wish the music matched the decor more. Also, I wish the lights were turned down a little bit more for dinner. They have a nice setup but the music and bright lights didn’t fit the theme they look like they are trying to be known for.

Absolutely amazing meal. Both my steak And my wife's were prepared perfectly and so succulent. I am a connisiuer of fine steak and these were some of the best cuts of meat and best prepared we have had in a long time. Our daughter has the Garrison Burger and it too was excellent. The s'mores lava cake for dessert with it's table side flaming presentation was awesome and the infused cotton candy was unique. Antwaun our waiter was excellent in all aspects of what being a top notch serve needs to be. Good Job Garrison staff cannot wait to come back

My steak was tasteless. It was also dry, even for being medium rare. The sides were decent but I'll probably never eat her again and would not recommend. The scenery is beautiful but that's about it.

This is my third time to The Garrison, and it is probably my new favorite restaurant in the Quad Cities. The food is great, the cocktails are great, and you never leave hungry or wanting more. The atmosphere is cool, and the service is good! Never disappointed here. Plus, the speakeasy in the alley adds a super fun, super cool addition. You have to buzz in and give the password, which is a really exciting and interesting detail. In the speakeasy, you can also order apps from the restaurant, which is a smart addition. Overall, I'm never disappointed. I hope this new, cool restaurant is around for the long haul! Strongly recommend.

Went for dinner last night with a friend. Our experience was awesome from the very beginning. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server was prompt and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing. We had the smoked lobster dip for an appetizer. So delicious. The ribeye and whipped potatoes were delicious as well. We got the caramel cheesecake for dessert and it was the best! I highly recommend the Garrison and will definitely go back.

It's a nice place but if you want to drink at the bar, you need to be tall, male and look like you are made of money. I had to stand on chairs and after 20 minutes of waiting multiple guys told the lady to take my order.
