We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary dinner there tonight. It was our first visit to The Garrison. The experience was absolutely wonderful. We started with the smoked lobster dip was absolutely delicious! But the soup… the lemon gnocchi soup was a religious experience. I could spend an evening there eating only the appetizer and soup! We checked out the Garrison tonight for our anniversary dinner. Very cool ‘20s vibe with matching decor. Both of us got steak, both delicious. The steak also comes with a salad and two sides. Cocktails were delicious and inventive and desserts were huge. We will be back soon.
The Garrison offers tasty cocktails and delicious dishes, including the shrimp & grits arancini and a perfectly cooked steak. The service is friendly, if a bit slow. The restaurant is suitable for special occasions, with a cozy atmosphere and attentive owners. The Downtown Giggle Water is a must-try drink at their speakeasy. Diners experienced long waits for drinks and food, with one entrée arriving cool but returned hot. The Pineapple Martini and Scallop Spaghettini were described as mouth-watering. RICHARD, a bartender at the speakeasy, provided a great experience with awesome drinks and recommendations, making the atmosphere enjoyable. The speakeasy itself offers an adventure with bold flavors, bootleg cocktails, and a vibe of glamour and nostalgia, where every dish and drink has a story.
