Whitey's is an institution for us. What started as a bonding moment when our daughter was at St. Ambrose has become a constant when we visit the QC. Sgt. Camo for me & Graham Central Station for my spouse.
Whitey's serves the best ice cream in the country. There are too few locally made ice cream shops in the world, and often when I can find them, they only have a few flavors and aren't particularly impressive. Whitey's provides excellent customer service and a huge range of flavors at a decent price, and the ice cream itself is delicious.
Very good ice cream. Lots of good flavors to choose from. The lemon custard, banana gram, white chocolate raspberry, and cup of Joe were really good: the peanut butter pretzel bits was ok as was the John Deere classic ( it could have been made better by using the lemon custard than lemon sorbet...in my opinion).
