Chicken Wings in Decorah

“I have been eating at this restaurant since I was seven years old and am now 37 years old (do the math!), so I am a bit of an expert on Pizza Ranch. I ate the dinner buffet last night in my hometown. The buffet closes between 1:30pm and 5:00pm. There is a senior discount for those older than sixty five. The buffet had fresh food, including the tasty fried chicken (I generally prefer bonelees), a thorough salad bar, an assortment of pizzas, and some sides. On top of that, there is soft serve ice cream. I cannot give enough credit to the manager, John, who has made this Pizza Ranch location what it is today. I remember him as a young man who would deliver pizza to my childhood home, even when he was the manager. He is super sweet and so hospitable to every customer. I have friends who worked for the guy and all say good things. I have only one critique for this location and is that they need to start serving the traditional dressing on the buffet. It is my favorite dish at all the other restaurants I have been to, and it’s my favorite item on the menu. My heart broke when I didn’t see it on the buffet. The prices are fair. That is more of a testament to inflationary food prices post pandemic.“

“Holyyyyyy cow, the manager is hands down THE BEST manager I have ever talked to, had a little miscommunication and she cleared everything up, threw in a discount and deal and went so far above and beyond. I told her I’d give her 7 stars, but I think 10 ⭐️ is more fair!“
